New Names from All-League Teams: Northeast Kansas

Let's take a look at some guys in northeast Kansas who stepped into the spotlight:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Big 7 League:</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1624968' first='Cameron' last='Boswell']</strong>, 6-foot-1 guard, 2025, Hiawatha – 1^st team (pictured)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A player on the rise in the 2025 class, Boswell asserted himself as the only sophomore to earn post-season honors in the Big 7 League. He really shot it well from the perimeter, recording numerous games with multiple threes. The lefty can play physical, driving through contact to find a shot or pass in the paint.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Centennial League</strong>:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Michael Boganowski</strong>, 6-foot-2 forward, 2024, Junction City - 1^stteam</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A coveted D1 football recruit, Boganowski showed his athleticism by coming from out of nowhere to make first team Centennial League. He guards the opponents' best player regardless of position. He can score at all three levels and at the rim. And he leads with his energy and maturity.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Flint Hills League:</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Trey Rogers</strong>, 6-foot-3 forward, 2023, West Franklin – 1^stteam</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A versatile athlete who would could get it done inside and outside, Rogers did some impressive things in his senior season. He knocked down three-pointers and blocked shots, and he averaged 8 rebounds for the Falcons.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>AJ Rubio</strong>, 2023, Mission Valley – 2^nd team</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Rubio was named to the Flint Hills League second team for his work as a high-energy playmaking guard for the Vikings. The senior posted 7 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals per game as a team leader.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Mid-East League:</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Ryan Schutter</strong>, 6-foot-5 center, 2023, Wabaunsee - 1^st team</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A long-limbed athlete, Schutter was a playmaker around the rim and in the paint. He blocked a lot of shots and bodied up opposing posts, who usually gave up a few inches to him. Schutter showed nice touch around the rim some creativity to get shots off. He was a hustler and a leader for a good team.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
