Teal Jr is a physically gifted young man for his age. Melvin is sporting a new uniform this season with the Charleston Raptors 16U. Teal Jr can get the ball to the rack using his frame and driving through defenders on the way. Melvin can knockdown the perimeter jumper.
Potts helped the Goose Creek HS Gators get to the Class 5A State Championship Game this past season. Shane brings a fierce competitive attitude to the floor. Shane can play both guard spots in the backcourt. He really brings good shot making and passing skills to the table. Potts had a few nice games here this weekend for the Charleston Raptors.
The Raptors in its first year used to be TMP ‘ last=”] if your trying to remember who they were in the past.
Wright brings good athleticism to the floor the Raptors. Donyell will look to stalk the baseline at times. Wright can explode by defenders at times in the open floor. Donyell plays the game very active on both ends of the floor.
This trio of Wright, Teal Jr and Potts will certainly lead the way for Head Coach Travis Smith this coming grassroots season.
Teon is an athletic forward who really plays bigger than his size at times down in the paint for the Carolina Rebels. Tindal can crash the glass on either end of the floor. He really does his best work inside the paint. Tindal will contest and challenge shots on the defensive end.
Teon is a bit of a TWEENER on the floor.
Moss always looks to be shot ready in the pocket to receive the ball. Halen makes good smart plays and never seems to rush his shot selection. Moss will connect on open looks and make the defenders pay in return. He works to receive the ball on offensive end and always seems to take direct coaching from the staff.
