<p>Throughout the season, here is a list of players who made the Top Ten and why. </p>

<p><strong>#1</strong> Class of 2024 | <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1172926' first='Marcus' last='Wilson']</strong> | PG | ABC Prep: The top recruit in the 2024 Class in New Mexico. Has received plenty of interest to play at the next level from his play on the grind session with ABC Prep. Very few players in this stat have the fire that [player_tooltip player_id='1172926' first='Marcus' last='Wilson'] plays with on a consistent basis. He has a high motor, is super athletic and can score in every area of the field. An athletic player who can score from outside as well. </p>

<p><strong>#2</strong> Class of 2024 | <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1069704' first='Dylan' last='Chavez']</strong> | SG | ABC Prep: A national ranked player that can score from inside and outside. He just recently reopened his recruitment to play at the next level. Can play multiple positions at his size and can handle the basketball really well. </p>

<p><strong>#3</strong> Class of 2024 | <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1158654' first='Daniel' last='Steverson']</strong> | SG | Cleveland: Was the states 9th leading scorer this season by averaging 21.2 points per game. Led the Cleveland Storm to the 5A Boys State Second Round. He was selected to All-State, All-Metro and All-District. A dangerous midrange and inside scorer who improved his three-point shooting. [player_tooltip player_id='1158654' first='Daniel' last='Steverson'] was 7th in New Mexico in free throws made shooting a high 83%. </p>

<p><strong>#4</strong> Class of 2024 | <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1166976' first='Cody' last='Vassar-Steen']</strong> | PG | Farmington: Averaged 20.7 points per game as the states 8th leading scorer and 5.1 rebounds per game. He was selected as a 5A Boys All-State Honorable mention. His numbers increased across the board from his sophomore year and plays under control at the point guard position. </p>

<p><strong>#5</strong> Class of 2024 | <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1124238' first='Elijah' last='Brody']</strong> | PF | West Mesa: Was selected as the 5A Boys District-2 Player of the Year in his first season on the West Mesa Mustangs roster following his transfer from Cleveland. Averaged around 17 points per game and 7 rebounds per game while leading the Mustangs in both categories. Led the Mustangs to the 5A Boys State Second Round. He is one of the state's best slashers and in game dunkers. </p>

<p><strong>#6</strong> Class of 2024 | <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1633061' first='Brandon' last='Kehres']</strong> | PF/C | Organ Mountain: A near double-double threat that inserted his name as one of the state's top post players by the end of the season. Uses his body really well, is super strong and physical. [player_tooltip player_id='1633061' first='Brandon' last='Kehres'] is polished and smooth around the basket. </p>

<p><strong>#7</strong> Class of 2024 | <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1225905' first='Marquise' last='Renfro']</strong> | SG | Atrisco Heritage: One of the state's top two-way players and can take over a game on either side of the floor. He is super quick on his feet, athletic and explosive when driving to the rim. </p>

<p><strong>#8</strong> Class of 2024 | <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1685484' first='Joe' last='Jack']</strong> | SG | Albuquerque Academy: Averaged around 20 points per game for the 4A State Champion; Albuquerque Academy Chargers this past season. Was selected to All-State, All-Metro and All-District. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1685484' first='Joe' last='Jack']</strong> saved his best performances of the year against the best teams in the state and in the 4A Boys State Tournament. Has little weakness in his offensive game and can heat up quickly. </p>

<p><strong>#9</strong> Class of 2024 | <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1897845' first='Lukas' last='Turner']</strong> | SG | Santa Fe: Led the Santa Fe Demons to the 5A State Playoffs while averaging an efficient 22 points per game. Arguably the best mid-range scorer in the game and can create his own shot with ease. </p>

<p><strong>#10</strong> Class of 2024 | <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1276346' first='Mike' last='Knaub']</strong> | PF | Eldorado: Was the Eldorado's second leading scorer while leading them to the 5A Boys State Tournament. A super athletic forward who can handle the basketball and plays above the rim. </p>
