Note: These are based on the positions allocated in PrepHoops. There may be small inaccuracies in positions

5. [player_tooltip player_id='1685443' first='Julian' last='Arroyo'] - Lovington (20th Overall)

Arroyo proved to be one of the most improved players in New Mexico, having exponential jumps in all statistical categories. As the starting point guard for Lovington, he averaged 17.9 PPG, 2.7 RPG, 2.3 APG, and 1.6 SPG. He's a versatile sharpshooter who will score from any spot on the floor and has deep range. Arroyo's silky smooth handle allows him to create separation from defenders and get his jumper off with ease. His dominance with the ball in his hands also allows his teammates to produce on offense, as he has court vision that he utilizes from anywhere on the court. With all 7 of Lovington's main rotation players coming back for next year, the Wildcats could be a scary dark-horse team in 4A going into next season, and Arroyo will be the catalyst for the Wildcat's offensive explosion.

4. [player_tooltip player_id='1680006' first='Jordi' last='Rojo'] - Belen (18th overall)

A true workhorse of a player, Rojo plays an Isaiah Thomas-type role for this Belen team. He's an undersized point guard but can shoot the lights out from anywhere on the floor, and utilizes his speed to get to his spots on the floor. He averaged 13.1 PPG, 3.0 RPG, 3.0 APG, and 1.8 SPG, leading his team in both points and assists, and he was the most consistent player on their team, playing in all 27 games for the Eagles. His quickness and mobility allow him to move fluidly around the court, and he creates for his teammates with his vision. He has a tight handle that he used to maneuver through double teams, and he can break press defenses by himself. He'll look to improve upon last year even though this Belen team is losing several key seniors, but Rojo is more than capable of elevating this Eagles team to success next year.

3. [player_tooltip player_id='1897886' first='Dillon' last='McCleskey'] - Albuquerque Academy (15th Overall)

McCleskey burst onto the scene this year by being a major contributor on a stacked Academy team. He's a dependable consistent point guard whose spot-up three ability allows for spacing in the Chargers' offense and success for everyone else on the floor. While his stats aren't uploaded, he shot a high percentage from three-point range and showed he could score at the rim off the dribble. His play in Academy's 4A Championship run earned him 4A Tournament 2nd-Team honors, where he averaged 12.3 PPG on 40% from three during the tournament. With the departure of Class of 2023 guard [player_tooltip player_id='1208052' first='Kellan' last='Gehres'], McCleskey will be the leader of this Chargers frontcourt that has three guards in the Class of 2024 Top 50, as Albuquerque Academy will absolutely be the frontrunner to defend their 4A title.

2. [player_tooltip player_id='1166976' first='Cody' last='Vassar-Steen'] - Farmington (4th overall)

Vassar-Steen is a perfect example of someone who plays larger than their size. He isn't afraid to throw himself into larger defenders and can finish at the rim with the best of them. He averaged 20.7 PPG (11th in State), 5.1 RPG, 2.7 APG, and 1.0 SPG. Vassar-Steen is a natural leader who does wonders for this Farmington team, as his constant motor and energy rub off on the rest of the team. He can score in bunches and with high efficiency, with 11 games where he had 20+ points on 50% or higher from the field, and in 7 of those games, he went over 60%. With the Scorpions only losing 3 seniors, and most of their starting lineup coming back, Vassar-Steen will lead an experienced Scorpions team into next year looking to improve upon last season. He will also continue his dominance during the offseason by playing with one of ABC's traveling teams.

1. [player_tooltip player_id='1172926' first='Marcus' last='Wilson'] - ABC Prep (1st overall)

The undisputed number one player on this list, Wilson is a true Division 1 talent that harbors attention from scouts all around the country. Playing in tournaments all around the west, he leads this stacked ABC Prep team into battle, playing at the highest level of high school basketball. He plays at high speed at all times, as he has incredible lateral mobility and quick hands, which makes him dangerous on both sides of the ball. Wilson is one of the top defensive guards in the country as well, with the capabilities to match up man-to-man against anyone. He currently holds offers from Washington State University and the University of New Mexico (these are the only offers I know of), and is ranked 193 in the PrepHoops 2024 National Rankings, but he will no doubt continue to gain interest from high-level college programs as he remains uncommitted.
