We start by taking a look at the 17U team that will be tough but will also participate in the newly formed circuit and will be sponsored by New Balance. Here are a few players we look forward to watching this upcoming grassroots season.
Highlights
Kase had himself a stellar high school season dominating the 1A scene as he now turns his sights towards playing against a different level of competition as he joins the Select Basketball Club that will now play in the newly formed New Balance Circuit. He did really well last year playing for Hooptown on the UAA circuit and now a year older he should be a marquee name in this new circuit as well. He brings major athleticism and take over ability. With more players to lean on it might open up a lot for him out in the perimeter and in the lane for him to attack. This will be a big year for him to turn more heads on a better platform.
Liam will add a few more solid players to his team which means he will have more opportunities to do what he does best and that is do work all over the floor. Liam showcased once again that he could take over games and score anywhere on the floor. He looked really good in that mid-range area as he is comfortable there and even with his back to the basket he knows how to get to his spots. Liam has D1’s courting him and he has another opportunity to figure out where he would like to attend this grassroots season.

This kid is an athlete that is bound to showcase that athleticism this grassroots season. He is a player that works hard and comes off of screens in a fury. He can knock them down in the mid-range and he is solid at the free-throw line as well. Really like that physical ness he brings to the game. He has a great motor and instincts as he attacks the glass on both ends of the floor. great spark-plug to have on your side.

Berrett had a great year at Madison and they played at a high level as did he. With a multi-use style of play, he can handle the ball and work in the perimeter and he can also battle inside as well. This kid battles on the boards as he averaged 8 RPG. he also made 3rd Team All-State. Really like this kid finishing at the rim. Plays above the rim and has some strength to his game.
