The Iowa commit displayed good poise and versatility at the event, showing he can play from all over the court, facing up, backing down, making reads on the catch or on the go, and made an impact in just about every area of the game. It starts with his reading of the defense, his ability to pick his spots to attack, and get in sync with his teammates. He made a great call before a backcourt inbounds, signaling to his guard to cut off him up the court when the ball comes in. Harris got the ball, the guard cut up, and Harris hit him at midcourt, where it was just two dribbles to the hoop before his guard drew a foul and went to the line.

His potential as a 3-point shooter with size was on full display at the pop-up, and though he didn’t shoot an incredibly high percentage from three on the day, he has all the makings of an impact shooter. His height allowed him great sight of the rim on just about every shot, he has a quick catch and release that played well in the pick and pop and with ghost screens or DHOs, and he has the confidence to keep firing after misses. Harris also flashed some rare acrobatics at the rim to finish around tight contests and show a little bit more athleticism than we’re used to seeing from him.

Showed a lot of poise and understanding of how he would have to play to help his team be at its best. Handled pressure well both inside and along the perimeter and was able to see the court and execute key passes. Was money from 3-point range and was excellent at sizing up his man then either shooting over the top with a quick release or getting a step and driving into the paint. Also played strong in the post to force catches away from the paint and come over to block shots from the help side.

Had a really nice day at The Expo showcasing some skills that differentiate him from a lot of kids his size. Was on point from long-range, shooting efficiently both off the catch and the dribble. Also happened to be the best playmaker and passer on his squad and got to showcase some excellent vision and anticipation to set up his passes.
