<p>The Indiana high school boys semi-state wrapped up yesterday and now we have the state championship matchups determined for Class 1A, 2A, 3A, and 4A. The state finals takes place this weekend but before we get to previewing that, lets go through yesterday's games and recap what we saw. </p>

<p><strong>Class 1A North </strong></p>

<p><strong>Game 1:</strong> Southwood 63 Fountain Central 57</p>

<p><strong>Game 2:</strong> Marquette Catholic 55 Kouts 50</p>

<p><strong>Championship:</strong> Southwood 64 Marquette Catholic 56</p>

<p><strong>Highlights: </strong>Southwood continued their overall surprising run in the 1A state tournament beating both Fountain Central and Marquette Catholic to make it to the finals at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. In the championship game between Southwood and Marquette Catholic, it was a vert tight one throughout. Southwood was able to find ways to get past of the due of [player_tooltip player_id='1162739' first='Jason' last='Kobe'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1167896' first='Lukas' last='Balling'] in order to get the win. 2023 forward <strong>Cole Winer</strong> had 21 points for Southwood in the championship game. </p>

<p><strong>Game 1:</strong> Indianapolis Lutheran 67 Loogootee 66</p>

<p><strong>Game 2: </strong>Rock Creek Academy 58 Jan-Cen-Del 47</p>

<p><strong>Championship: </strong>Indianapolis Lutheran 55 Rock Creek Academy 47</p>

<p><strong>Highlights: </strong>The first game saw Loogootee control most of it before Indianapolis Lutheran made a run in the 4th quarter. 2023 guard <strong>Durray Smith</strong> would lead Lutheran past Loogootee with his 16 points. In the second game, Rock Creek Academy pretty much controlled the game and went on a big run to close it out. Lutheran would go onto win over Rock Creek Academy to face Southwood in the 1A State Championship </p>

<p><strong>Highlights: </strong>Up in 2A north semi-state , it went about a many expected it would with a few tough games and Blackhawk Christian coming out with a ticket to the state championship. [player_tooltip player_id='1042496' first='Gage' last='Sefton'] led Blackhawk Christian with 29 points in the semi-state final win over Wapahani. </p>

<p><strong>Game 1:</strong> Linton-Stockton 87 Park Heritage 59</p>

<p><strong>Highlights: </strong>For the most part, Linton-Stockton was extremely dominant. Linton and Brownstown ended up in the championship game like expected. The Miners looked like they would run away with the game but Brownstown came back from being down 20+ points to only lose by 8. [player_tooltip player_id='935736' first='Logan' last='Webb'] had 28 points and [player_tooltip player_id='868240' first='Joey' last='Hart'] 23 in Linton semi-state win. 2024 Purdue commit [player_tooltip player_id='1158245' first='Jack' last='Benter'] ended with 32 points in the loss. </p>

<p><strong>Game 1:</strong> NorthWood 53 Fort Wayne Dwenger 43</p>

<p><strong>Highlights: </strong>3A North was always NorthWood's to lose. They showed no signs of struggle on Saturday and easily took care of both Dwenger and Delta. [player_tooltip player_id='1226596' first='Cade' last='Brenner'] led with 19 points to get NorthWood to their first state championship in the school's history. </p>

<p><strong>Highlights: </strong>Going into the 3A south semi-state, it was a real toss-up with honestly any team getting to the state final to face NorthWood. In the end, it was Guerin Catholic who beat both reigning 3A champion Beech Grove and Scottsburg to advance to State. We now have a matchup between two of the deepest teams in Class 3A. the [player_tooltip player_id='1226596' first='Cade' last='Brenner'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1547883' first='Dylan' last='Murans'] matchup is an exciting one. </p>

<p><strong>Highlights:</strong> We got exactly what we wanted in the 4A north semi-state final between Penn and Kokomo. It was Mr. Basketball favorite [player_tooltip player_id='1049169' first='Markus' last='Burton'] vs the best player in the state, [player_tooltip player_id='1363488' first='Flory' last='Bidunga']. In what was a close battle, Bidunga and Kokomo defeated Penn 58-57. Bidunga led Kokomo with 25 points, 13 rebound while [player_tooltip player_id='1049169' first='Markus' last='Burton'] led all scorers with 27 points in his final high school game. </p>

<p><strong>Game 1:</strong> Brownsburg 51 Jennings County 47</p>

<p><strong>Championship:</strong> Ben Davis 66 Brownsburg 38</p>

<p><strong>Highlights: </strong>Even though the teams they faced were tough in their own right, Ben Davis had a pretty easy Saturday beating both Bloomington North and Brownsburg to get the state championship like everybody thought they would. Now, we get the exciting matchup of [player_tooltip player_id='1042497' first='Zane' last='Doughty'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1363488' first='Flory' last='Bidunga'] in the Class 4A State Championship on Saturday. Ben Davis is one win away from having an undefeated season. </p>
