is a class of 2026 prospect who I’ve had my eye on for a while now. I first discovered Skillman in May 2023 and have had the pleasure of watching him develop into a big-time playmaker who has started to gain the recognition he deserves. At 6’3″, Skillman’s physical presence sets him apart. He’s a versatile combo guard/wing who utilizes a different skill every night. Skillman is a clutch scorer, elite rebounder, lock-down defender, and vocal leader on the hardwood. He’s a guy who excels in whatever role his team needs from him that moment in time. Skillman’s got a tremendous amount of upside as he’s continued to improve his game, documented by his rise in our class of 2026 rankings, and take on a bigger role on West Forsyth’s varsity squad. I am very intrigued to see how Skillman fits in with this years roster. His versatility, toughness, and jack-of-all-trades skillset puts him in a nice position to contribute meaningful minutes and be a big name on a big team.

West Forsyth high school is a consistent 20-win-per-season team in the heart of North Carolina’s triad region. The Clemmons, N.C., program had another respectable season, finishing the year with a 20-8 record. One of their most intriguing prospects is class of 2026 combo guard

. I first discovered Skillman in May 2023 and have seen him develop his game into a versatile 3 who is deserving of his spot in our updated rankings.
At 6’3”, Skillman is a big, physical presence on both sides of the floor. Making his varsity debut as a sophomore in 2023-2024, Skillman was an integral part of his team’s success as a do-it-all wing who played with a level of aggressiveness that is rare for a prospect in his class. Skillman has proven he is a capable scorer on all three levels, as he continues to hone his outside shooting skills and increase his percentage from behind the 3-point line. He led his team in rebounding, proving he is a tenacious prospect who is built to compete on the boards. With a West Forsyth roster with a couple key departures, I expect Skillman to see a major increase in ball-handling duties which will account for a stronger desire to score and look to attack the basket. Keep an eye out for

is another prospect in the Triad area in the 2026 class to keep an eye on. He checks in at No. 111 off the Watch List out of East Forsyth High. He’s a strong-framed prospect at 6-foot-3 who’s shown he can hold his own inside and out as he’s due to make his varsity debut in 2023-24. Look for his name to grow on the PH radar this season with his versatility.

is a long, athletic name to know coming out of West Forsyth High School. The 6’3″ wing has a unique build and skillset that allows him to play 1-4. Skillman is one of the only real positionless prospects in his class. This gives him a huge leg-up. Skillman can take the ball up and run the point when his team needs a quick, easy 2 points. He can lay low in the corner and wait for the right time to hit a spot-up three. He can get down and dirty on the block and get to the line. Skillman is one of the most versatile offensive weapons I’ve seen this year. This also translates to defense. His size and length account for easy blocks and tips in the lane. He’s an elite rim protector. Disciplined with his body and does a nice job of not letting drivers draw fouls. Skillman is a prospect who has a ton of untapped potential and will work this summer to polish some parts of his game that will make him an elite stock riser heading into this season.

Skillman was quite the skilled forward prospect around the rim for Team Forsyth as they took home the title in the end. He’s a 6-foot-3 big man that showed he could clean things up on the offensive boards and be a solid option in the pick-and-roll game with his good hands and strength in traffic. He’s a 2026 name to keep eyes at West Forsyth High.
