There are still 16 district championship trophies left to hand out on Monday night at the Class 5 and 6 levels. Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at the five most intriguing district championship matchups tonight. All five games will tip off at 6 p.m.

1 Staley vs. Oak Park (at Staley) - The Class 6, District 8 championship game will feature two of the top teams in the Kansas City area that are at different stages. No. 1 seed Staley is a veteran team that is seeking a state championship after finishing third in the state tournament last season while Oak Park is a talented team that is full of underclassmen and looking to jump the shark this season. The two teams met earlier this season with Staley taking a solid xx victory over December xx. That happens to be Oak Park's only loss of the season. It will be interesting to see how far Oak Park has come as they get a second shot at the powerful Staley team.

******

2 CBC vs. Chaminade (at SLUH) - The Class 6, District 3 final will feature the two Metro Catholic Conference rivals were in the Final Four last season with CBC winning the state championship and Chaminade finishing in fourth place. They will meet for the third time this season with CBC winning both meetings during the regular season. Both teams have had the bumps along the way, but appear to be hitting their stride at the right time. CBC enters the game on a five-game winning streak, which includes wins over top Class 5 teams Cardinal Ritter and Cape Girardeau Central. Chaminade is coming on strong as well behind their stellar 2023 backcourt of BJ Ward and [player_tooltip player_id='1161297' first='Nilivan' last='Daniels'].

******

3 Nixa vs. Kickapoo (at Ozark) - These two top SWMO area programs have staged some great games in recent years and tonight's Class 6, District 5 final figures to be added to the list. Nixa enters the game with a 28-0 record, which included a 65-62 victory over Kickapoo on Feb. 1 at Nixa. It was a game where Kickapoo actually rallied to take the lead the fourth quarter. Nixa has been led by 6'4" 2023 [player_tooltip player_id='1070087' first='Kael' last='Combs'], who has been a potent scorer and playmaker while the veteran Chiefs are led by 6'6" 2023 [player_tooltip player_id='1161311' first='Brayden' last='Shorter']. The place should be rocking tonight.

******

4 Battle vs. Rock Bridge (at Hickman) - A tremendous Class 6, District 7 matchup featuring two very talented an accomplished teams from Mid-Missouri. Battle has offensive firepower at all five positions and they have been on a roll, winning 13 of their past 15 games, including a 52-49 victory over Rock Bridge. They have an exciting young point guard in 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1424414' first='Vernell' last='Holt jr']. and a veteran standout forward in [player_tooltip player_id='1070098' first='Justin' last='Goolsby']. Rock Bridge is no stranger to district titles and postseason success. The Bruins feature 2023 guard [player_tooltip player_id='1070118' first='Brady' last='Bowers'] and 6'9" 2023 [player_tooltip player_id='1167326' first='Kanyon' last='Hummel'].

******

5 Cardinal Ritter vs. Vianney (at Vianney) - A Class 5, District 2 matchup that features the state's No. 1 team in Cardinal Ritter against a hot shooting Vianney team that is closing out the year on a rush.
