Singletary and the Warriors ran into a scrappy Calhoun Academy squad here today. Greyson finished with 16 points in the loss. Singletary became the all-time leading scorer for the Warriors this season and Head Coach Bo Stone. Greyson has a quick trigger from downtown while showing some deceptive athleticism along the way.
Brantley and the Warriors have made it into the SCISA Class 2A Semifinals to play Cathedral Academy. Brenden has lived his season out on the perimeter behind the three-point line. Brenden entered the Quarterfinals with 116 three pointers made this season (355 attempts) and a 25.6 ppg average. Brantley has a very slender frame and really lacks any kind of contact. He likes to set up shop out behind the 3-point line.
Johnson just brings toughness to the floor at all times for the Warriors. Nicknamed DL, Johnson plays his position so well on the floor. He rebounds at a high rate and really stays engaged at all times with his game. Johnson NEVER takes a play off and just plays the game from his position. David entered the contest with a 17.7 ppg and 13 rebounds average this season. He scored 20 points in the win over Bethesda Academy.
Goodwin and the Generals advanced to the SCISA Class 2A Semifinals with a gutsy win over Patrick Henry Academy. Carter scored 16 points in the win over the Patriots. Goodwin likes to take the ball in his hands at times and really looks to take over. He connected on few pull-up jumpers in the lane when he wasn’t attacking the basket. Carter has no problems sacrificing his body on the defensive end when it comes to taking a charge.
Felder is a slender small forward who really likes to camp out on the perimeter. William came into the contest vs Dillon Christian averaging 17.9 ppg and left scoring 24 points today in the win. Felder has soft hands and a nice stroke from behind the arc. William lacks any kind of contact and prefers to play the finesse game for the Cavaliers.
Altman is a bouncy athletic forward for the Patriots. Noah plays on the wing on the offensive end of the floor for the Patriots but defends down in the post. Altman has a long and rangy frame to play very active in the passing lanes. Noah glided over the floor at times with his play. He was able to extend the defense with a few three pointers today. He finished with 13 points in a tough loss to Cathedral Academy.
