The combo guard continues to shine even with one of the top recruits in the nation on his team. He continued to put up 20 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists per game. The only knock on his game this season is that he was only able to play in 11 of his team’s 31 games due to a knee injury early in the year. He looks to come back healthy for his senior season to dominate and continue to prove why he is also so highly ranked in the 2024 rankings. The four-star guard uses his size to score in a variety of ways and as a lefty, he brings both calmness and violence to the court.

The Spartan’s point guard is easily one of the best pure shooters in Orange County, but I would move that to the entire state. While he mostly plays point guard for the team, his strong suit is his scoring ability. With that said, he is able to do his job by setting up his teammates. He is at his best when he is lighting it up from beyond the arc. Whether it is off the dribble or off a pass, I don’t know too many others I would want shooting it other than him. He is a bit undersized, especially when defending bigger guards, but he is someone I would keep an eye on that can come in and give you some scoring bursts.

One of the best two sports athletes in the county that is already being recruited to play football is also one of the best defenders I’ve ever seen. He puts fear into the eyes of opposing point guards when he picks them up full court. He knocks down open threes, slashes hard to the hoop, and will throw down a highlight dunk on the fast break. He is an electrifying player to watch and you can only hope that you can convert him into a full-time basketball player.

The Senior point guard leads the team in every category. Even as a point guard he averages the most blocks and steals on the team as well. He has the physical body type to pair with his skillset to be a great player at the next level. What catches my eye though is how consistent he is. Throughout the season he continued to set up his teammates just as much as he went and got his own. Also, his size helps him defend well on all switches. He is a leader and the perfect general to lead a team or bring energy off the bench at the next level.

Having the ball in his hands is a good thing on a basketball court. With comfortable averages of 13 points per game and 4 assists, he was the main playmaker of a team he led to a league title for the first time in a long time. What impresses me most is that he does it the right way by playing hard on both ends of the floor. You don’t have to worry about him taking bad shots or losing his man on defense. He doesn’t take possessions off and continues to bring energy to the rest of the team. He doesn’t have a weak spot in his game so he will continue to do whatever the team needs him to do. He will have a much bigger role with some seniors leaving, so I am excited to see what he can do.
