Horton projects as an undersized guard with a lot of heart and great ability to score the rock. He is still a consistent shooter even under pressure from the defense and can finish through contact at the rim. Orlando is always an unselfish leader on the court and will never hesitate to make the extra pass as well. Look for the unsigned 2023 senior to gather more offers throughout the summer as he continues his grassroots career!
Stoney Hadnot
Stoney Hadnot
Stoney Hadnot made his presence known in the game against district rival Cypress Falls and dropped a team high of 21 points, while also pulling down 9 rebounds. Hadnot has been a huge contributor in big moments for Cypress Springs this season as they continue to make waves in district play and will be a big time sleeper heading into the playoffs coming out of a tough region. Stoney will look to ride this impressive momentum as he will aim to have a huge summer for Team Temple playing on the NY2LA circuit.
Gary Lewis Gary Lewis 6’4″ | SG College Park | 2024 State TX is a very underrated big man coming out of the Conroe/Woodlands district and he proved that in a big time 52-50 win over College Park to help close out district play on a high note for the Tigers. Lewis had 19 points and 12 rebounds against the Cavaliers, pulling down a big double-double to help his squad secure the victory in this district contest. College Park and Conroe had been battling back and forth all season for momentum heading into playoffs and it is safe to say that Gary was a big time player in this game. He will look to have a big summer for Texas Impact as he tries to make a statement in the grassroots tournaments.
Aaron is a great leader for this Klein Collins squad as they rose to 1st in district….Perez is a big time offensive playmaker for this Tigers team and he continues to motivate his teammates, dropping 20 points and 8 assists in a 63-62 win vs district rival Klein Bearkats to help the regular season come to a close on a high note. Perez is always unselfish and willing to make the extra swing pass, demonstrating his offensive awareness and always knowing where his teammates are on the court. Aaron will look to continue this upward momentum into playoffs as the Tigers will prove they belong in a tough region where every game counts.
CJ Mccain
CJ Mccain
CJ McCain has been a big time beast for Texas City High School all season long and just proceeded to dominate the competition. McCain had a monster senior night against Santa Fe in the blowout 61-36 win and dropped 26 points to go with 24 rebounds, leading his squad to victory in dominating fashion. Clovis is ready to make a big time impact on the grassroots scene this summer as an unsigned senior, looking to gather collegiate interest and play on an elite circuit.
Justin Mack
Justin Mack
Justin Mack was a big time player in one of the final district contests against district foe Fort Bend Bush, despite the tough 58-61 loss. Mack displayed his patience on the offensive end with his ability to stay calm and collected under pressure leading to a team high 24 points. Justin runs the offense with great efficiency and is always able to get to his spot and either distribute the ball to an open teammate or spot up for a knockdown jumper. Justin also shows exceptional footwork on the defensive end, notching about 3-4 steals per game and is consistent at finishing on the fast break.
Wells had a dominant showing in his team’s clutch time 52-47 win over Jersey Village, amassing a total of 21 points and 13 rebounds. Sean also played great defense and came up with about 6-7 blocks in the contest as well, showing off his ability to protect the basket. Wells will make a big difference on the court for whatever AAU franchise he decides to run with this summer. Opponents, watch out when Sean is defending you, your shot may be sent to the moon!
