Thomas went right to work early in the game by drilling two very deep 3-balls from the top of the arc against the 2-3 zone D. He was very adept at using the defensive positioning to his advantage although he was able to move past his defender at any time. He timed his drives to the rim nicely while mixing in some clutch three-point baskets to keep the defense guessing. Had 3 in the first half alone. Finished the game with 23 points and helped out tremendously on the glass, crashing in from the top of Washington’s zone defense. Elijah had some big chasedown blocks and deflected many passes in a tough overtime battle vs Delmar (DE).
