Prep Hoops Missouri takes its annual look at some of the top Brother Acts around the state.
Winston and Corbin Allen Corbin Allen 6'5" | SG Oak Park | 2025 State #169 Nation MO (Oak Park): The Northmen have one of the top teams in the state with a 19-1 record behind the talented Allen brothers. Winston is a 6’6″ 2023 with a tremendous motor. He is averaging 16.3 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.1 steals a game. Corbin is a 6’4′ 2025 who can excel anywhere on the court with his versatility. He is currently averaging 16.1 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists a game.
Devin and Darin Conley Darin Conley 6'5" | PF Pembroke Hill | 2023 State MO (Pembroke Hill): The Conley twins have been starting for the Raiders for the past three seasons. Devin is a 6’2″ 2023 guard who is an Emporia State recruit. He is averaging 15 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.4 steals. Darin is a 6’5″ power forward who is headed to Ball State to play football. He is averaging 12.2 points and 13.5 rebounds a game. He is one of the top rebounders in the state.
Marqueas and Kendrick Bell Kendrick Bell 6'3" | SG Park Hill | 2023 State MO (Park Hill): The 6’3″ 2023 twins have been excellent in leading the Trojans to a 12-7 season. Marqueas, a SEMO basketball recruit, is one of the top offensive talents in the KC area. He is currently averaging 19.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 2.2 steals a game. Kendrick is an explosive athlete who’s headed to Michigan on a football scholarship. He is currently averaging 13.8 points and a teama-high six rebounds a game.
Justin, Owen and Dillon Duff (DeSmet): The three Duff brothers are excellent players who have the Spartans in the mix in the race for the Metro Catholic Conference title. Justin is a 6’4″ 2023 wing who is averaging 18.7 points while shooting 45 percent from 3-point range. Owen is a 6’0″ 2025 point guard who is averaging seven points while making 36 percent of his 3-pointers. Dillon is Owen’s 6’3″ 2025 twin brother who was averaging five points and five rebounds a game before going down with an injury five games into the season.
Brayden and Jackson Shorter Jackson Shorter 6'6" | PF Kickapoo | 2025 State MO (Kickapoo): The Shorter brothers are the corps of a very strong Chiefs front line unit. Brayden is a 6’5 2023 forward who is headed to Washburn. He is an excellent shooter with deep range who can also score inside. Jackson is an up and coming 6’7 2025 who does a lot of his work inside.
Trevor and Tristan Reed (John Burroughs): The Reed brothers have anchored the front line for an excellent team that currently has a 15-6 record. Trevor is a 6’6″ 2023 forward who is currently averaging 17.5 points and 8.7 rebounds while shooting 58 percent from the field. Younger brother Tristan is a 6’7″ 2026 power forward who is averaging 7.1 points and 6.7 rebounds while shooting 58 percent from the field and blocking a team high 30 shots.
Walker and Rowdy Gohring (Fulton): The Gohrings form an excellent backcourt combination in the Mid-Mo area. Walker is a 2023 guard who is averaging 18 points, seven rebounds, six assists and two steals a game. Rowdy is a 2024 guard who is averaging 10 points, three rebounds and three assists while shooting 41 percent from 3-point range.
Zyree and Zamier Collins (St. Mary’s): The Collins brothers are following in the footsteps of older brother Yuri Collins, a former Dragons standout who is now at Saint Louis University. Zyree is a 6’0″ 2025 combo guard who is averaging 26.9 points, three assists and two steals a game. He is one of the top scorers in the St. Louis area. Zamier is a 5’10” 2024 guard who averages seven points and three assists a game while being one of the team’s top defensive players.
Jack and Max Steinbach (Ladue/John Burroughs): The Steinbach brothers are having good seasons as the point guard for their respective teams. Jack is a 6’0″ 2023 guard who is a four-year starter for the Rams. He is currently averaging 16 points and 4.6 assists a game while shooting 52 percent from the field. Max is a 5’9″ 2025 point guard who has been solid in his first year as a varsity starter, averaging six points a game while leading the Bombers in assists.
Langden and Marshall Kitchen (Westran): Westran is enjoying a 20-3 season behind the dominating play of 6’7 2023 Langden, who is averaging 24 points and 15 rebounds a game. Younger brother Marshall is a 6’4 2024 forward who is a solid contributor at five points and five rebounds a game.
