There are essentially no games on Friday night as the girls play their semifinal games and the boys will play during the day on Saturday to save the spotlight for championship games in the evening. Boys games typically played on Friday night were all played on Thursday making it a jam-packed slate across the state. Let’s dive into some of the noteworthy individual performances from Thursday night’s action.
- 6’6″ unsigned senior forward Peter Combs Peter Combs 6'6" | PF Bloomfield | 2023 State IN came up in a major way for Class 1A #1 ranked Bloomfield on Thursday night. The big left-hander scored 28 points to lead all scorers in an exciting 49-47 double overtime victory over Class 3A #4 North Daviess. In the loss, Oakland City signee Jaylen Mullen Jaylen Mullen 6'0" | PG North Daviess | 2023 State IN scored 21 points.
- Bloomington North blew out Edgewood 68-26 on the back of 22 points, all scored in the second half, from Vanderbilt signee JaQualon Roberts JaQualon Roberts 6'8" | PF Bloomington North | 2023 State IN . Sophomore wing Luke Lindeman Luke Lindeman 6'6" | SF Bloomington North | 2025 State IN added 17 points for the Cougars.
- Senior forward Merrick Macaluso Merrick Macaluso 6'3" | SG Brebeuf Jesuit | 2023 IN scored a game-high 27 points in Brebeuf Jesuit’s 56-36 win over Indianapolis Lutheran. Macaluso also pulled down 7 rebounds. Evan Haywood added 14 points for the Braves.
- Indiana’s #2 ranked prospect in the Class of 2025, Trent Sisley Trent Sisley 6'8" | PF Heritage Hills | 2025 State #47 Nation IN , scored 22 points to break the single-season scoring record at Heritage Hills. The Patriots defeated Boonville 56-52.
- Cooper Farrall Cooper Farrall 6'5" | SF Culver Academy | 2023 State IN , a Bentley signee, scored 37 points and had 13 rebounds in Culver Academy’s 74-59 win over Don Bosco Prep.
- Concordia Lutheran cruised to an 86-50 win over Angola thanks to junior guard Ajani Washington Ajani Washington 6'2" | SG New Haven | 2024 State IN scoring 25 points.
- Drew Heckaman scored 25 points while Indiana Wesleyan bound Jaxson Gould Jaxson Gould 6'3" | SG Warsaw | 2023 State IN added 16 points as Warsaw took down Mishawaka 57-54.
- Greenfield-Central notched their 13th straight victory 56-43 over Delta on the back of 24 points from Marian signee Dylan Moles Dylan Moles 6'3" | PG Greenfield-Central | 2023 State IN . Moles also broke the Cougars career three-point record with his 182nd triple.
- Unsigned senior guard Keegan Manowitz Keegan Manowitz 5'10" | PG Jennings County | 2023 State IN scored 22 points to help move Jennings County to 16-1 on the season with their 74-61 win over New Albany.
- 5-star junior center Flory Bidunga Flory Bidunga 6'9" | C Kokomo | 2024 State #7 Nation IN finished with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocked shots in Kokomo’s 59-46 win over Arsenal Tech.
- Seth Martin Seth Martin 6'3" | SF Lakeland Christian | 2023 IN scored 26 points in a 56-36 for Lakewood Christian Academy over Lakewood Park.
- Junior Ian Hall Ian Hall 6'2" | SG Orleans | 2024 IN scored 17 points and dished out 5 assists in Class 1A #4 Orleans’ thrilling 62-58 four overtime win over Class 1A #5 Loogootee.
- Unsigned senior guard Joey Garwood Joey Garwood 6'1" | SG Penn | 2023 State IN exploded for 8-12 shooting from beyond the arc on his way to 27 points to lead Penn over John Glenn 88-44. Notre Dame signee Markus Burton Markus Burton 5'11" | PG Penn | 2023 State #190 Nation IN added 15 points and 10 assists.
- Pike defeated Decatur Central 77-66 with junior wing Camron Casky Camron Casky 6'4" Pike | 2024 IN leading the way with 21 points and 6 assists. Unsigned senior point guard Devon Woods Devon Woods 5'10" | PG Pike | 2023 State IN added 15 points and 8 assists. Sophomore guard Melakih Cunningham Melakih Cunningham 6'6" | SF Crispus Attucks | 2025 State IN went off for 25 points and 15 rebounds in the loss for Decatur Central.
- Junior forward Mason Harvey scored 27 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in Seton Catholic’s 70-49 win over Union City. Junior guard Braiden Hogg Braiden Hogg 6'1" | PG Richmond | 2024 State IN added 14 points for the Cardinals.
- 6’6″ sophomore forward Cole Henry scored 33 points to go with 12 rebounds and 5 blocks in South Ripley’s 80-77 overtime win against Southwestern (Hanover).
- Junior guard Sabien Cain scored a team-leading 18 points to move University to 14-1 on the season with a 61-52 win over Traders Point Christian.
- Wapahani hit 16 three-pointers as a team to win their 16th straight game 93-52 over Cowan. Unsigned senior guard Aidan Franks Aidan Franks 6'2" | SG Wapahani | 2023 State IN scored 29 points to lead all scorers including five three-pointers while junior guard Isaac Andrews Isaac Andrews 6'1" | SG Wapahani | 2024 State IN hit seven of his own on the way to 27 points.
- Zionsville defeated Avon 68-56 with balanced contributions from their main guys.
