The Owyhee Storm will be making their first appearance in the Montverde Academy Invitational Tournament (MAIT) and have had a very successful season in 2022-2023, coming into the tournament ranked No. 4 in the state of Idaho, across all classifications.
Owyhee will open their 2023 Montverde Academy Invitational Tournament run on Friday against either Westminster Academy or Montverde Academy on Friday at 7:15 p.m.
The 6-5 junior guard is a walking bucket and has a smooth touch averaging 18.0 points per game and can play multiple positions on the offensive end. Campbell also holds offers from Boise State, Stanford, USC, Washington State among several others.
The 6-3 senior guard is a perimeter threat and is very versatile when it comes to the defensive end. Bailey is currently averaging 12.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game.
Sasser-Gunson is averaging a double-double for the season with 10.5 points and 10.0 rebounds per game for the Owyhee Storm. Sasser-Gunson can guard multiple positions on the defensive end and is also a three-level scorer when it comes to his offensive game. The 6-6 senior forward also has a very smooth touch to his inside game.
The 6-7 sophomore forward is a versatile 1 through 5 position player and can score with the best of them. He is averaged nearly 12.5 points per game for Owyhee. Rasmussen has recorded three double-doubles this season for the Storm.
