At 6-foot-8, he’s really starting to fill out his frame and get ready for the next level by playing against top-notch competition. He’s a sizeable forward name with versatility and good instincts when he’s on the hardwood.

Barrett is a recent mover into the 2025 class and quite the versatile forward presence at 6-foot-8 set to make his debut with Moravian Prep/YNG Dreamerz on the OTE stage soon enough. He’s quite the playmaking forward presence who’s shown he can shoot with efficiency from the perimeter while rebounding and protecting the rim defensively. He’s one of a few names to get to know in the TLBA rotation as they continue to terrorize opponents on the Pro16 Circuit.

Barrett is a hybrid forward that is continuing to draw interest from coaches at all levels as he prepares for a big senior season at Bishop. He’s got a varied game on offense, playing primarily as a slasher and a mobile post prospect. However, he can step out to the mid-range and play from the high post or other varied areas of the court. His size and mobility make him important on defense as well as a rim protector and switchable forward who can guard out on the perimeter as well as inside.

Cal Barrett Cal Barrett 6'9" | PF/SF Overtime Elite / YNG Dreamerz | 2025 State NC is quite the stretch forward prospect in the making to keep an eye on over at Bishop McGuinness High. He showed he could run the floor with ease, protect the rim as a defender and showed off his burst to the rim on a few different occasions. He’s a 6-foot-9 prospect that can operate off the bounce just as well as being a presence in the paint. As he improves his strength/frame, look for his name to grow in NC’s 2024 class.

He’s a prospect that can operate at a few different positions given his size and ability at 6-foot-9. He showed he could knock down the mid-range and battle in the paint on both ends of the floor as he continues to climb up the radar in NC’s 2024 class.

Cal Barrett Cal Barrett 6'9" | PF/SF Overtime Elite / YNG Dreamerz | 2025 State NC is a sizeable name to get to know in the Triad area out of Bishop McGuinness High. He’s a 6-foot-9 presence that can operate at the forward/wing position with his ability to defend multiple positions, rebound the basketball and make things happen in the mid-range and painted area on offense. He has the ability to guard on the perimeter as well as on his ability to be a presence at the rim as a shot-blocker and rim protector. He runs the floor well in transition and looks to finish tough in traffic when given opportunities in space. He’s a 2024 name to keep an eye out for with NC Spartans Liles this grassroots cycle.
