While starting the season missing only one three-point attempt in his first ten games, many would assume he's a stationary shooter. However, St. Clair is a certified shot creator who knocks down shots from range off the bounce. With a smooth step back that's cash from any range, he does a great job of using defenders' momentum against them. St.Clair has extreme range on his jumper and shoots with accuracy beyond the college three-point line. He's one of the few players that has to be picked up as soon he crosses halfcourt. This allows him to work the perimeter with sidesteps, stepbacks, and two dribble pull-ups, and his jab steps out of triple threats. As a pure three-level scorer, he shows accuracy/touch from the midrange and enough handle/ craft to get to the basket and finish effectively. In the paint, he has nuance, can finish with the left, float one over the top, and create space for himself to get an attempt. Lastly, St Clair flashes major playmaking potential as a playmaker. With defenses having to honor his drives, he frequently makes dump-off passes and kicks to the corner for high-quality shots. He has the natural instinct and IQ to find the best shot.
