Barney has come from out of nowhere to lead the Gators. The junior foward is averaging over 16 per game, while powering Green Valley to a 12-8 record. He’s one of the state leaders in double doubles with his signature game being a 35 point 18 rebound performance against Rancho.

Barney may be the biggest breakout player of the season. The Green Valley star has been a consistent scoring and rebounding machine. He’s a versatile player that has been effective on the offensive glass, as well as being the roller in P&R action. He’s had a lot of strong games, and is one of the state’s leaders in double – double’s but perhaps his best game was his 16 point 4 rebound performance against #7 ranked Centennial.
