D2 Amherst is getting a very effective skilled player on both ends. Without the transfer portal he is a Patriot ,Ivy, NEC type player. Rebounds well on either glass. Defends the post with toughness uses his lower body. Also defends moving his feet and hands really well on the perimeter. Protects the ball with his body and base to get to the rim. Very effective with his shot from the 15-17 foot range. Strong finisher through contact.

An excellent post defender uses his strength and lower body really well. Can also guard the perimeter which makes him a valuable piece with his size. Offensively can hit the mid range jumper. Very good getting to the basket off of 2-3 dribbles. Strong finisher inside of 12 feet in many different ways. A do it all player with great basketball instincts and skill set.

A hard worker that does a lot of good things on the court. Strong defender . Outstanding tenacious rebounder. Really good skill level. Can take his defender off the dribble with 2-3 dribbles. Strong tough finisher with determination and strength. Can score inside punishing smaller defenders and take the bigger players off the bounce. Can stretch the floor as well hitting open threes off the catch.

We saw from Brandin at the team camp what we have come to expect from him . A relentless hard working post player with great footwork who scores in the paint with an assortment of ways to get off his shot. A beast on the boards on either end. He was able to get to the rim off of 2-3 dribbles and score with 2 defenders on his back. Through hard work Brandin is hitting the perimeters jumpers now as well. Adding another element to his game.

Night after night in the chsaa a lot of times he is asked to defend bigger players he does it and wins a lot of those matchups. Uses his body to score in the paint or off of 2-3 dribbles. Really good at positioning himself to snag rebounds. Defends the paint or the perimeter really well. Most night his stat sheet looks like 13 points 9 rebounds 3 assists 2 steals 1 block.

Some games this season he is undersized but still manages to defend at a high level in the paint and at the rim. Great hands catching the ball in traffic.
