Class AAA is an interesting one—It's balanced and has some top players and teams in the region in it.

Our Lady of The Sacred Heart(28-0)

The two time defending state champions at AA are coming into their first AAA season riding a 68 game winning stream. [player_tooltip player_id='1186067' first='Rocco' last='Spadafora'] and forward [player_tooltip player_id='1186068' first='Bryson' last='Kirschner'] will keep them in the hunt while they adjust to life at a higher class.

Seton LaSalle(17-4)

Mark Walsh led the Rebels to a divisional championship last year and their top player and one of the top in the WPIAL, [player_tooltip player_id='1116023' first='Connor' last='Spratt'], returns to lead the guard heavy lineup. Spratt had an electric junior year--the highest point was leading the Rebels back from a big deficit at home vs Aliquippa--He hit a key shot to send the game to OT and then won it on a bucket in OT.

Steel Valley(11-12)

Don't expect a glitzy record from the Ironmen—Most of their players are playing a football game tonight vs Westinghouse. If they win, they've got the state final next week. Once they get the pads off and the high tops on, they'll be a title contender. 6'3” senior [player_tooltip player_id='1395834' first='Makhai' last='Valentine'], a prolific scorer and scholarship prospect, leads them again after averaging 29PPG last year.

Washington High(17-4)

Wash High will have a new look on the bench this year as Ron Faust won't be there. He retired after just under 40 years and won 653 games. Davoun Fuse returns after leading the team in scoring last year. They're always competitive.

Shady Side Academy(20-7)

They won the WPIAL last year but lost star guard [player_tooltip player_id='1188036' first='Peter' last='Kramer'] to Hampton. They have enough back to compete and it will be up to [player_tooltip player_id='1187942' first='Eli' last='Teslovich'] to lead the charge. The junior guard averaged 16 as a sophomore.
