Continue ReadingUNCG nabbed the Lithuanian. Domas has great size and strength but is also mobile and highly skilled. He can space out the floor not only to shoot the three, but to put the ball on the floor and beat defenders off the dribble. Domas’ foot speed and ease getting off the floor give him great tools to work with at the next level.
Leverette has a chance to cement himself as one of the best players in the 229. At 6-foot-4, he has enviable size on the perimeter. He’s a creative ball handler that can breakdown defenders without needing a screen to get himself open. Kemari has deep range on his three-point shot and is good at finishing through contact.
Blackshear burst onto the scene in the summer and has started popping up on college radars. The 6-foot-5 swingman is long and wiry. He’s got an explosion when elevating to finish. Blackshear is a threat from the three-point line and a good rebounder.
Not a household name in Georgia, Cal Rich Cal Rich 6’7″ | SF Southeast Whitfield | 2023 State GA certainly is in Northwest Georgia. He has improved each and every season as an inside-out combo-forward that likes to attack from the perimeter. Cal is an accurate three-point shooter and a quality athlete that doesn’t have issue playing above the rim. He’s averaging over 20 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks per game through the early portion of the season. Rich is a true sleeper that should start gaining attention from D-II, D-III and NAIA schools.
Colbert is another sleeper with length. He’s a good athlete that will attack from 15-feet and in. Jalen has defensive versatility and a high-motor which helps him control the glass.
