Best Performance
Dropping 44 points is not easy and in no way did Max make it look easy but he got on a roll and it was fun to watch him put up some crazy shots and everything was just falling. Max came through in a big way to pull out a big win against a very good Bishop Walsh squad.
Best Dunk
Highlights
Kinda crazy to put a freshman on this list but get use to this as Anthony Felesi Anthony Felesi 6'6" | CG Utah Prep | 2026 State UT over at Orem is the truth. Kid jumped out of the gym to nail down that first in-game dunk against Layton Christian.
Best Win
The best win has to go to American Fork as they took out Sunrise Christian on of the best teams in the nation. AF took major punches but kept rolling with it. Tiger Cuff Tiger Cuff 6'4" | CG American Fork | 2024 State UT had an outstanding performance at PG. Ashton Wallace Ashton Wallace 6'4" | CG American Fork | 2023 State UT put on a clinic moving without the basketball. Aaron Dunne Aaron Dunne 6'9" | C American Fork | 2023 State UT probably had one of his best complete games of his career especially passing the ball. Blake Rawson Blake Rawson 6'8" | PF American Fork | 2024 State UT was gritty and got his hands dirty on both ends of the ball and AF squeaks out a big time win.
Biggest Upset
This is a tie between Riverton and Hillcrest. Riverton was an after thought and they were able to get a lot out of some role players including big play from their main guy Jaxon Kereks. Riverton upset Fremont who has a roster with some talent that has committed to play at the D1 level.
Hillcrest on the other hand was a forgotten team and Maddux Albers Maddux Albers 5'11" | PG Hillcrest | 2023 State UT helped people remember that he is still around as he got major help from Isaac Miller Isaac Miller 6'3" | SG Hillcrest | 2024 State UT and Micah Madry Micah Madry 6'5" | CG Hillcrest | 2023 State UT to upset Herriman a team that is loaded with talent.
Best Event
Hoopfest was insane and hopefully next year they can get Alta, Orem and Olympus to join Corner Canyon to ply against the best teams in the country.
