Lucas was lighting it up from three point range at the showcase. At one point during one of the games he made 4 three pointers on 4 straight offensive possession. He has a quick shot release, a soft shooting touch and gets to his spots quickly. He also showed his ability to get to the rim, as a couple of time when the defense overplayed him, he attacked the close out and scored at the rim. Lucas is a crafty guard, that shouldn’t be left open.
Malik of the 401 Phenix has a game you should pay attention to. He is an explosive 6-7 athletic and strong built forward. He can play way above the rim, and did so at the showcase with a few dunks. He is a versatile wing, who can attack off the dribble, has an improving shot, and can matchup with positions 1-5 on defense. Malik is always a factor in the paint, and he is also showing the skill set to stretch the floor. He also had a few nice transition baskets showing how he can run the floor.
Christos Vasilakeris
Christos Vasilakeris
Christos caught my eye at the showcase. He stood out to me with his ability to stretch the floor with his outside shooting at 6-6, and his ability to make plays inside. He had his exclamation point of the event with a breakaway dunk. Christos has the length and athleticism to match his skill set. He has been having a strong fall season for Mass Elite and he continued that play at the showcase. There is a ton of potential with his game.
Brian Morse
Brian Morse
Brian is a playmaking Point Guard for Mass Elite. He plays so smooth and with a good feel for the game. He is a good decision maker and knows when to take it himself and when to be a facilitator. At the showcase he showed his ability to be a consistent shooter, as he made a number shots from the outside. He also showed his passing skills, with some good reads on the defense, and good passes in transition.
Cheyton Marshall
Cheyton Marshall
Cheyton had a good showing at the event. He is an athletic player for the ASA Program, who can get to the rim, or pull up and shoot. He likes to run the floor and is very effective in transition. He has a variety of finishing moves, and showed a few of them at the event. He is 6-3 and could be still growing. He is a high energy player on both sides of the ball, and has a strong upside to his game.
