Unveiling the Class 5A Preseason All-state Team for Louisiana

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We are one day into the basketball season for the higher classifications in Louisiana and we have one more preseason, all-state team to reveal and that is in Class 5A. The highest classification seems to have the toughest team to select because of the number of schools. Nevertheless, these ten players are some of the best players in the class and should have good seasons on top of that. If their teams perform to their capabilities however, there shouldn't be any.<strong> Jabarri Barry</strong> has one of the better all-around squads in 5A this season. Barbe will still need him to score and distribute and we think he will on a high level this season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1145438' first='Kohen' last='Rowbatham']</strong> willed his team to the 5A championship through the middle rounds of the playoffs and carried that momentum into a spectacular summer. He is certified as a first team selection. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1130799' first='Brandon' last='Hardy']</strong> has been an integral part of the Zachary championships and should be the focal point of the team this season. We definitely see him as a first team preseason selection. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1475974' first='Dorian' last='Booker']</strong> was a load to handle this summer and should provide the same thing for Scotlandville this season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1055170' first='John' last='Kelly']</strong> returns to public school at John Ehret and we think he will make an immediate impact with his new team. He has been a all-state lock in the past with the Louisiana sportswriters and he is one here as well. The same thing goes for <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1273400' first='Braylan' last='McNeal']</strong>. He fills a stat sheet nightly for the Ruston Bearcats and we see him doing so this season with his scoring picking up a tad. [player_tooltip player_id='1218192' first='Wayne' last='Randall-Bashay'] is a triple double threats on some nights. He multi-faceted game propels him to preseason all-state status and should at season's end. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1105591' first='Howard' last='Gaskins']</strong> is a point guard who can score and displayed that this summer. With the ball in his hands, Liberty should have a fantastic season. Rounding out the second team is <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1105536' first='Jeremiah' last='Evans']</strong> of Southwood. The 6'9" junior is a double-double machine who can do many things on the floor. His ability to rebound, shoot, and block shots is the reason why he is a preseason, all-state selection. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Catch these players in a gym near you as they begin play in various early season tournaments and non-district matchups throughout the state. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
