NBA Stylistic Comparison: 2021 Lakers Kendrick Nunn Confident. Effective outside shooter. He can handle the ball pretty well. He might not play as a lead guard just yet, but that is in his future. Mentally, Owensby is there now, certainly court-aware as a point guard must be. Does not play above the rim yet, but getting there. Maryville is a deep basketball program, and though Owensby varsity minutes should be slim this winter, do not read deeply into that. His high school career will be filled with impressive jumpers, perhaps much more if the trajectory holds.
