There were quite a few guys at the Top 250 Expo in Kansas City that fit that description. You can’t get much more versatile than Savailio Smith, who really impressed Saturday. Davis Rokey Davis Rokey 6'7" Sabetha | 2023 KS is a long guy who could be described as “versatile.”
Here are five other players who stood out for their versatility at the Expo:
Collins (pictured) really popped at the Expo. He is a smooth, creative player who plays with high energy, yet makes things look easy. He probes defenses with the dribble and easily gets to jumpers in the midrange, which he hits at a surprising rate, even with defenders all over him. He sees the floor and makes some slick passes to shooters. He also has range and hit several threes. Sometimes you wonder just how he does it, but the guy is a playmaker.

Kapaun just keeps coming with more talent. Like they need another impressive young guard/forward. Johnson carried over from an impressive summer with a very versatile performance at the Expo. He can handle the ball well enough to handle point, can shoot it from deep and in the midrange, making him capable of at least four positions on the floor. His passing was about as impressive as his shooting, Saturday. He made a lot of plays at the defensive end too, poking dribbles away and getting in the passing lane.
Highlights
Koehn is a big, powerful player who can handle the ball in traffic and score through contact. He backs down defenders to set up jumpers or kickout passes. He moves without the ball to provide a target for passes. He sees the floor and distributes the ball to the right place. He showed impressive range and can score at every level.
Highlights
Really impressive off the ball, Webb hit several big 3-pointers with a quick release and easy range. He is smooth when he moves without the ball or when he puts it on the deck. He is smart and sees the floor and doesn’t force anything foolish. He has nice body control when shooting on the move. He made an impression on the defensive end too.

Aedan Wooley
Wooley jumped out for his really active game and playmaking in every facet. He worked well without the ball, moving to find openings to catch and maneuver for buckets. He played off the ball, but demonstrated a fine handle when pushing rebounds the other way and on penetration. He threw aggressive outlets of defensive rebounds too. He was equally comfortable getting into the lane or launching from deep.
