Sammamish won a close game against Pacific Academy (Canada) on Wednesday, and Morrissette was one of the key standouts with his performance. He was a factor rim-to-rim, rebounding with strength, moving without the ball to space around the paint, and doing an excellent job rim-running in transition. He plays his role so well and can flash with other plays at times, like a nice backdoor assist he made from the top and a block he had on a 3-point attempt.

Barry is going to have a big role on this Sammamish team that is ready to have a big season. Morrissette has a great frame, standing at 6’8″ and is as strong as he looks. He seals defenders in the paint well, putting himself in great position to get the bucket by using his soft touch around the rim. He will easily be a 10point/10rebound a night player.

Barry is going to have a MASSIVE season for Sammamish next season. His 6’8″ frame will be hard for opposing players to matchup against. He seals opponents nicely and is able to get himself open down low. He boxes out every play and goes 100% for the rebound when its coming off the glass. Morrissette has a soft touch around the rim and is the anchor of the defense on the other side of the ball. 4 year coaches should be interested.

Morrissette has continued to rise the rankings with his solid play in the frontcourt. He doesn’t try to do too much, fills his role exceptionally well, and was an anchor inside for one of the top teams in the 2A a season ago. He’s strong with the ball, holds his position well, and is pretty mobile for his size. Look for Morrissette to have another big season in 2024-25.

Morrissette is a true big man who plays within himself but has also shown some nice improvements this spring. He is rock solid inside, both on the defensive end and working on the offensive glass. But he’s not just a big body, he moves well in the PNR, has a good set of hands, and can drill the open midrange shots. He should play a big role for Sammamish this winter.

The big forward for Local Hoops has looked real strong inside, rebounding, defending the rim, and providing some high-efficiency finishing. He’s a strong kid who can hold his position inside, work well off the pick and roll, and works hard to get end to end.

Played solid up front for a tough Sammamish team that finished just out of the trophy round at this year’s 2A state tournament. Third leading scorer for them at just over 10 points per game and was a big factor on the glass and defending the rim. Looked stronger this season and can really hold position down low and get into good spots for passes off drives. Excels diving to the rim and can pop out to hit those short to midrange jumpers.
