Mims is an intriguing 2024 Wing from Upward Stars Columbia . While he plays his High School Basketball in Georgia, he has strong ties to the Palmetto State and I’ve always heard positive reviews about his game. He backed those up with his play in Spartanburg. While he is not the most athletic wing, Justin is a good finisher around the bucket and has lots of good moments with the ball in his hands in transition. Mims is also a nice perimeter shooter, hitting both contested and uncontested threes.

Mims is a stock riser down south! He plays at a fast pace and can push the ball directly off a rebound using both the dribble and the pass. Mims can be a menace in the open floor with his ability to lead the break and finish or dump it off to a teammate. He sees the floor well and has some really nice touch on his floaters.
