We have been hitting the road hard over the past few weeks visiting open gyms across the state to begin previewing the upcoming season. I’m out of town this week so while I’m not able to hit in-state open gyms I wanted to begin highlighting some of the top uncommitted senior prospects entering this season. There are still players available for college coaches at any and all levels. We began with the six highest ranked uncommitted prospects based on the current Prep Hoops Indiana rankings. Now, we are on to part two.
- t
- Ranked as the #18 prospect in the Class of 2023 by Prep Hoops Indiana.
- Holds offers from Nicholls State, IUPUI, Kent State, and Incarnate Word.
- Very talented point guard who will man the ship for one of the best teams in the state this season. Shot-maker off of the bounce with elite quickness to get to the rack off of the dribble. Type of player you’ll see in the NCAA Tournament for a low-major program.
- t
- Ranked as the #20 prospect in the Class of 2023 by Prep Hoops Indiana.
- Holds offers from Illinois-Springfield, Tiffin, and Saint Francis. Recently took an official visit to Western Carolina.
- Dynamic scorer who can get his own shot at all three levels. Excellent athlete with length at 6’4″. Jones is a prospect you can expect to come in and score points for you right away while having a high ceiling on the defensive end as well. Handles the ball well enough to act as a secondary playmaker. It is wild to me that he doesn’t have a few low-major offers at this point.

- Ranked as the #22 prospect in the Class of 2023 by Prep Hoops Indiana.
- Holds offers from Saginaw Valley, Bentley, and Purdue Fort Wayne.
- Farrall has elite physical tools a strong-bodied, athletic 6’6″ wing. He can catch-and-shoot from the perimeter and use his size to finish through contact at the rim. Could see him being a stretch-4 type of player at the next level. High level Division II/low-major prospect.

- Ranked as the #23 prospect in the Class of 2023 by Prep Hoops Indiana.
- Holds offers from Wisconsin Milwaukee and South Carolina State.
- Possibly the talented pure scorer in the state. Carson is a 6’2″ lefty that has “in the gym” range and can create his own scoring opportunities with the best of them. He takes contact well, doesn’t get sped up, and will never back down. Truly special as a bucket-getter. Would raise the level of a low-major that needs a talent influx.

- Ranked as the #25 prospect in the Class of 2023 by Prep Hoops Indiana.
- Holds offers from IUPUI, Illinois State, Miami (OH), Morehead State, SIU-Edwardsville, and Southern Indiana.
- You can’t teach size and Meriwether’s 6’10” frame is one of the biggest in the state. He improved at an incredible rate in between his sophomore and junior seasons becoming a much more mobile version of himself who can now rebound his area and run the floor. Still some raw parts to his game, but I understand why low-major coaches would want to go after him.

- Ranked as the #29 prospect in the Class of 2023 by Prep Hoops Indiana.
- Holds offers from Huntington and Indiana Wesleyan.
- Elite shooting ability from the perimeter and has the size to create for himself in the mid-range or at the rim. Just an excellent all-around offensive player. Has a couple of high level Crossroads League offers, but I could see him becoming a role player at the Division II level if a place needs a shooter/scorer.
