Jaydon is a three level scoring threat. He showcased the ability to score from the three, the mid range, and from underneath. Keefer shows great duality between having a pretty shot and not being afraid to get his hands a little dirty underneath fighting for rebounds.

Keefer has had a terrific senior season and that continued last night. He’s a knock down shooter and we saw some of that in the win against DCC. Keefer hit at least 2 catch and shoot triples. One of those he played really well off a screen, coming around wide open and burying it. Keefer also showed the ability to hit from mid range with a baseline jumper.

Keefer is a flat out shooter. He looks so comfortable and confident behind the arc. I counted at least 3 triples last night, 2 of the catch and shoot variety. Keefer showed his extended range well beyond the arc when he buried a deep wing triple.

Keefer is one of the most dangerous all around shooters in Washtenaw County. Beyond that as well. He shows terrific balance and rhythm, especially when shooting off the catch. Keefer can shoot over the top of a closing defender.

Keefer brings a lot to the table as a player and prospect. He has a reputation as a shooter and the reason was very apparent when I saw him play. Keefer was smooth and balanced off a catch and shoot corner 3 and he showed deep range, especially on a triple from the top. Keefer also did some nice work on the weakside glass.

Keefer had a huge, and sometime underrated, influence on the great success of the Ann Arbor Huron team last year. He’s a pure shooter through and through and he always searches for open space when his talented teammates attack the rim. Keefer can get hot from beyond the arc and I’ve seen him in person salt away tight games by hitting big triples.

I was so mad at myself the first time I watched some of his film. I knew that I should have evaluated Keefer sooner. He moves well in all directions, changing speed and pace with ease. Keefer is excellent in the open floor and does a great job making himself available to the lead ball handler in transition.
