Expert Analysis
Tre Cordon | Prep Hoops Scout
Fox missed some early time to start the HS season due to an injury and it was my first time seeing him in person since November. He looks back to full strength after averaging just under 20 points per game, he showcased his impressive scoring bag and had one of the wildest poster dunks of the weekend. Newly reclassed into 2026 his stock should rise in the coming months.

Fox remains another underrated name to get to know in the 2025 class after producing 10.5 PPG as a junior. He’s gotten back on the court and healthy to conclude the high school season with East Wake High. He’ll look to pick up where he left off with Knightdale Hustle Blue on the independent grassroots scene. He’s a confident scoring presence who’s shown he can operate at either guard role at a high level.

Fox is a scorer who can really get going at a moment’s notice, having some big time games this season for East Wake, including a 50 ball against Southern Wayne. Post-injury early in the high school season, Fox has shown he can get to his spots at will, and really makes his mark as a shooter. Has gotten better at attacking closeouts and making opponents pay for running at him on the three point line with some herky jerky movement and an ability to control his pace.

Fox is an undisputed candidate for this list as he dropped 50 points in his team’s victory over Southern Wayne last week. He had 8 threes in the performance, and showed why he can be an impact scorer off the ball in a big way at the next level. He’s super shifty and unpredictable, with good handles and an ability to change speeds and pace with the ball as a scorer. He should hopefully continue to pop off as a scorer after having a slow start to the season.

Fox continues to climb up the PH radar in the 2025 rankings as he moves from No. 100 to the 74th spot in the latest rankings update. He’s due to have a strong junior season in the East Wake High lineup after posting 9.4 PPG, 2.7 APG, 1.9 RPG and 1.0 SPG as a sophomore. He’s a strong-framed 6-foot-2 guard who plays with a ton of energy on both ends of the floor.

came through big time for the East Wake Warriors in their playoff game vs Northside Jacksonville. Throughout the season, Ben had been a productive player but on Tuesday he exploded for 29 points on 11 of 13 shooting including 7 for 9 from the 3 point line. While East Wake season has come to an end, Ben could be a valuable player next season as he potentially steps into a bigger role.
