Commitments from SEPA '23s Continue

Recently several of the 2023 prospects that we have been scouting and writing about for two years announced which program they will play for at the next level. So, we thought we would take a minute to acknowledge the dedication and skills that led to this life changing achievement for these ballers.   Below is a rundown of seven more 2023 prospects from southeastern Pennsylvania (and beyond) who recently committed to play college ball.   [player_tooltip player_id='1188210' first='Alassane' last='Amadou'] – 6'9” / Springside CHA / Philly Pride National / Wing: Committed to Marquette… Amadou has always been a long and athletic prospect with hops who could catch lobs. But in the last year and a half, it was his improved half-court game and perimeter shooting have turned him into the No. 6 ranked 2023 prospect in the state. On defense, Amadou is shot blocking and rebounding force. This summer at UAA Session III (Georgia) he averaged 12.2 points and 5.5 rebounds per game while shooting 32% from deep. Amadou scored a tourney high 22 points vs. Riverside Hawks (NY).   [player_tooltip player_id='1202023' first='Augustus' last='Gerhart'] – 6'9” / Hill School / Philly Pride National / Power Forward: Committed to Univ. of Penn…Gerhart possesses size, athleticism, smooth footwork, and a silky jump shot with range to the arc. As a bonus, he is an efficient interior scoring threat. During the 2021-22 season Gerhart averaged 19 points along with 9 rebounds pr game and was named to the 2021-22 Mid-Atlantic Prep League All-League Team. With his unique skill set, it will be interesting to see if Penn Head Coach Steve Donahue develops Gerhart as a stretch-4.   [player_tooltip player_id='1178095' first='Jacen' last='Holloway'] – 6'4” / Devon Prep / Prim3Tim3 / Small Forward: Committed to Army…Holloway is athletic lefty with size who present significant match-up issues for opponents. With his height and frame, Holloway can play on the interior and score with either hand. However, do not sleep on his perimeter game. He owns a respectable jumper and is an extremely capable 3-point shooter. Plus, he can score off the dribble by bullying his way past guards. In 2021-22 Holloway posted 13.7 ppg. along with 5.8 rpg. He was key part of DP's 3A state title team.   [player_tooltip player_id='1472594' first='Bobby' last='Rosenberger'] – 6'5″ / Perkiomen School / We R1 / Wing: Committed to St. Francis-PA (D1) …Rosenberger (pic above) is a left-handed wing who can attack the rim off the dribble and then finish at the cup with either hand. This extremely athletic prospect's ability to elevate off two feet and dunk will catch Northeast Conference opponents by surprise. Rosenberger also possesses deep three-point range on his jumper. A high basketball IQ, good court vision and unselfish approach make him a solid passing big. At UAA Finals (IL) Rosenberger posted two 14-point games, including one against West Coast Elite-NorCal where he drained 4 of 7 three-point attempts.   [player_tooltip player_id='1393685' first='Seyphon' last='Triplett'] – 6'1' / Westtown School / PSA Cardinals / Combo Guard: Committed to Stonehill College (D1)…Triplett is an extremely confident, attacking, style of player who provides any lineup with some swagger (think Stephon Marbury). Triplett averaged 11 ppg. & 5 rpg. during the 2021-22 season. He owns athleticism and hops on an elite scale. Triplett‘s quick first step, blow by dribbles and efficient jump shot are additional assets that will serve him well in college. Triplett's noteworthy performances from the 2021-22 regular season include scoring 23 points in a win against Blair Academy (NJ) as well as recording 21 points, 6 rebounds 4 assists in a win over Phelps School.   Jeb Williams – 6'5” / Lawrenceville Prep (NJ) / Prim3Tim3 / Wing: Committed to Johns Hopkins (D3)…This suburban Philadelphia resident has made a name for himself in the Mid-Atlantic Prep League as a long and athletic wing who can shoot the 3-ball, score in the mid-range and finish with authority. At the other end, Williams excels at weak-side shot blocking as well as grabbing a defensive rebound and triggering the fast break with a pinpoint outlet pass. All these skills are complimented by his high basketball IQ.   [player_tooltip player_id='1382962' first='Malcolm' last='Wrisby-Jefferson'] – 6'4” / Phelps School / Boys2Men / Combo Guard: Committed to Brown…Wrisby-Jefferson (7 ppg. & 3 rpg. n 2021-22) is a prospect with size, length and athleticism who is a plus player on both ends of the floor. He can score at all three levels, handle the rock some and facilitate for teammates. Wrisby-Jefferson possesses a high IQ and unselfish mind set, so the Brown coaching staff will love him. Defensively Wrisby-Jefferson is extremely versatile as he can guard 1-5 and provide weak side shot blocking. The upside on Wrisby-Jefferson is unlimited.
