About Michael

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I control the pace of a game and look to create shots for other teammates. I love to steal the ball and make quick passes. I am in constant motion and when I am not talking, I am always using my hands to help my team.

Defense first! A pass first guard looking to get my teammates involved.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I take public speaking classes to help with my communication skills for sports as well as for life.

Yes, losing grand parents and friends in my life.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would like to play and the D1, D2 level. It's important that the school has a great sports therapy program.

Malachi has gotten so much better since the last time I saw him. I remember him struggling at times to figure out when to attack vs. when to kick out once he punctured the paint, but he did a really good job making those decisions on Sunday. When he drives to the rim, he has a certain smoothness and athleticism to him that makes him difficult to stay in front of, and he has nice touch at the hoop with both hands. He can also shoot it from the outside. Malachi is probably a D3 player at this point but he could be blooming late physically, which would make things very interesting.
