The Last Run 2023 Standouts

The event was presented by Threat Hoops.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jordan Logan (Da Ones): The 6'7" forward from Vashon was a dunking machine in the one game that I watched in the semifinals. In the first five or six minutes, he had already thrown down a half dozen dunks. Not only is he explosive around the basket, but he is also a very capable 3-point shooter who can stretch the floor. He has really flourished this summer as one of the state's top stock risers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Macalaeb Rich (Showtime): The powerful 6'6" combo forward from East St. Louis (IL) put on a show in leading his team to the 17U championship. In the semifinal game alone, he had at least a dozen dunks. And that is no exaggeration. He physically overpowered defenders on his way to the basket while also dropping 3-pointers and mid-range jumpers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Colby Noblitt (Hardwood Elite): A 6'0" point guard from Oakville who was one of the top perimeter shooters that I saw during the day. He knocked down six 3-pointers in the game that I watched. When he wasn't hitting 3-pointers, he did a good job of distributing the basketball as he displayed his excellent playmaking skills.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Cameron Stovall (St. Louis Stars): The 6'5" forward from Vashon proved to be a big matchup problem throughout the day. He was very good when he was attacking the basket and taking opposing bigs off the dribble. He is a strong finisher at the rim as well as a strong offensive rebounder. He also displayed a much improved shooting stroke from 3-point range. He hit three triples in the game that I watched, which was very impressive.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Tyler King (LHBA): An athletic 6'3" shooting guard from Parkway West who was getting buckets from all three levels. He was attacking the basket hard with straight-line drives to the basket and he was also setting up defenders and breaking them down with some nice escape moves. He also kept them honest by pulling up and knocking down 3-pointers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Nehemiah Reedus (Miller Career Academy): The slender 6'3" guard really had a nice performance in the game I watched as he impacted play at both ends of the court. He was slithering into the lane with nice slashing drives for buckets while also knocking down Corner 3-pointers off the catch. He also played a very effective game on defense as he used his length to disrupt offense with many deflections and steals. He is very smooth and he plays at this own pace.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Javaris Moye (Da Ones): A 6'4" shooting guard from Kirkwood who showcased his impressive all-around scoring chops. J-Mo is an excellent shot creator who can get his own bucket with a variety of escape moves. He can change speeds and score at all three levels. He also dropped off some nice dimes when he was drawing the extra defender to him.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
