Top 2023 Oklahoma and Arkansas Prospects from the Summer

These guys were really making noise with their production on the court, and most of these guys have division one talent written all over them. If they are in your area, trust me and get out and see them ASAP! </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Ben Radford </strong>2023 6'5 Tulsa Memorial High School, OK (Oklahoma Hawks 2023)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ben is a quick player who can move his feet to defend on the perimeter or run the fast break. I was very impressed with the agility he displayed and the ease in which he locked up opponents on the perimeter. He used his length as a weapon to actively harass ball handlers and when he came up with steals he finished with ease on the break. He showed a natural shooting stroke and operated as a good trailer option for his team. He is a knock down shooter when given time to set his feet, and truly punished the defense from the outside with his ability to shoot over anyone. I loved his all around feel for the game on both ends of the floor, he seems to be reading the game at a really high level already.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><br><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1295678' first='Camden' last='Stewart']</strong> 2023 5'11 Soutmoore High School, OK (Oklahoma Swarm Elite 2023)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Camden is an aware point guard who can make any pass on the court, which is impressive but just as impressive when you see him do it with his off hand. He made great passes in the full court that hit his teammates in stride. His ability to jump start fast breaks made his team really capitalize on turnovers and long rebounds. I was blown away with his ability to create in mid air, he made impressive passes after he had already left his feet and drawing a second defender. When he got past his opponent and drew the defense's attention he always found the right dump off passes to his big for easy looks. He has the ability to score in the paint either at the rim, or by using his soft floater to get his shot softly over his opponent. I would like to see him work on his shot off the bounce from the mid-range and beyond the arc.<br> <br><strong>Daniel Cummins</strong> 2023 6'4 E-Stem Little Rock, AR (CT All D.A.W.G.S 2023)<br>Daniel is an energetic wing who showed an ability to catch and shoot and snipe the defense from the corners and wings. His consistency from the outside allowed him to be a paint beast and live on the offensive glass for easy opportunities. He showed explosive leaping ability to routinely put back his teammate's misses. He showed an ability to play out of the high post and make the right decisions and reads within the half court. He is a freight train as he gets downhill, and is dominant in the full court where he displayed high level point forward instincts. I would like to see him develop a shot off the bounce with more consistency, he is already a great set shooter so it should not be long before he is punishing any defense.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><br><strong>Rece Hipp </strong>2023 5'11 Rose Bud High School, AR (AR Sharks 2023)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Rece is a shifty point guard with a real ability to create space, but also make the defense pay for relaxed coverage on the perimeter. I loved watching him manipulate his defenders, changing speeds to keep his defender on their toes. His overall craftiness allows him to score in bunches across all three levels of the floor, comfortably attacking the defense and taking whatever they give to him every time down the court. He is deadly when you give him time to set his feet, scoring in bunches around the arc on the perimeter. He is a smart passer and play maker, constantly making the right reads in the open court, as well as creating opportunities for his teammates to quickly get a shot up with his crisp passes.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Dacarter Coleman</strong> 2023 5'11 Sylvian Hills High School, AR (B.A.D. Hoops)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Dacarter is a creative guard who sees seemingly every inch of the basketball court. I was very impressed with some of the wizardry level passes he displayed to find his open teammates either as dump off passes to his bigs in the lane or kicking out to his shooters in the corner. He displayed great vision throughout the tournament, and even had an incredibly difficult pass that he pulled off, spinning off of his defender and wrapping a pass around his defenders back to his open teammate for an easy layup. It had the entire court in awe of the creative and difficult pass he pulled off. He displayed an ability to score at will off the bounce after freezing his opponent with a crossover. He knocked down shots around the arc off the catch and the dribble, and willingly took midrange opportunities whenever they were given to him.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
