What Stood Out: Scoring Ability
Robinson is another prospect that jumps off the page physically when he takes the floor. He’s lean, but strong, and has long arms with quick twitch athleticism. He’s made a name for himself with his ability to guard, but is starting to stand out with his ability to put the ball in the basket. He came out firing in this game and proved to be a capable shot maker from behind the arc. The lefty has the ability to create space off the bounce to open up his jumper and once he gets a few of those to fall, can get by the defense and finish at the rim with quickness and athleticism. He’s quickly becoming a three level scorer and real threat with the basketball in his hands.

Robinson also impressed me with his on-ball defense; he’s quick and handsy on the ball and is constantly scanning the weak side for opportunities to come over and get steals. He’s also willing to take a charge on anyone, which is rare these days. Offensively, the lefty hit a good number of threes and showcased some solid IQ when coming off screens and handoffs. Some improvement in Robinson’s right hand would go a long way in making him a more dynamic offensive player, but perhaps his defense and shooting are enough to earn him some minutes at Bates College next year.
