Saturday 16 U standouts from The Last Dance

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Last Dance is the final event that the Prep Hoops Circuit is running this summer, and a lot of players are standing out. In this article, I’ll be breaking down some 16 U standouts I saw at Supreme Courts on Saturday.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id=’1371674’ first=’Cooper’ last=’Fortune’], 6’2 SG OSA Crusaders: Fortune made the right play and helped bring a spark off the bench and switch the momentum of the game. Fortune is in control while attacking the basket and isn’t afraid to kick out to shooters. Fortune was also efficient shooting around the basket. Fortune isn’t going to blow you away by scoring 30 points, having a highlight dunk or anything, but he’s a type of player you win games with.<br>Dillon Claussen, 6’6 PF OSA Crusaders: Claussen finished around the rim with both hands and always looking for the ball when he moved off screens to the basket. His teammates did a good job of finding him in the paint when he was open. Claussen also flashed some shooting potential from the outside.<br>Josiah Howard-Morrison, 5’11 PG Midwest Basketball Club Gold: Howard-Morrison is a quick guard who has some wiggle off the bounce to get to the basket. A couple times he simply beat his man with one crossover or counter move and scored at the rim. What I liked most about Howard-Morrison’s game was that he’s a tough on ball defender who caused turnovers with his pressure.<br>[player_tooltip player_id=’1144119’ first=’Cooper’ last=’Grams’], 5’9 PG ABC Young Lions Blue: Grams got to the basket using his handle. Grams is undersized but used creative finishes at the rim to score. Grams also made kick out passes when the defense collapsed on his dribble drive game. Finally, Grams made some toughness plays going after loose balls.<br>[player_tooltip player_id=’1418526’ first=’Jayden’ last=’Schoen’], 6’3 SF Team 1848: Schoen was the spark plug for their second half comeback. Schoen made shots from the outside, had an impressive finish with his off hand and found teammates open when the defense doubled him. When his team was down, I felt like Schoen helped turn the tide and give them the lead. In overtime, Schoen also made some clutch free throws to seal the victory.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
