Hubbard continued his early season hot scoring run with 25 points and a bevy of threes on Tuesday night in Orange Lutheran’s (CA) tough loss to Tahoma (WA). Jaden continued to create well for himself off the dribble including from behind the three point line as he is able to very confidently take and make threes with a high degree of difficulty. He definitely shows the ability to stretch the floor for a team at the next level but needs to reign in his shot selection to become a more efficient scorer.

Jaden continued his hot shooting on Tuesday night as Orange Lutheran beat Palos Verdes. Hubbard finished the game with 27 points and 6 threes including 4 threes in the 4th quarter that were very important in Orange Lutheran staving off a late run from Palos Verdes. Jaden continues to be a proper “zone buster” for OLU and was showing off his range last night as he was routinely hitting from 25+ feet.

Now at Mission Viejo, the 6’3″ scoring guard put on a offensive clinic and exploded for 38 pts against Venice. Hubbard can score at all levels and can catch fire in a hurry. 30 of his 38 came in the 2nd half as he finished the game with six three pointers. Hubbard has a quick release and unlimited range. When not doing damage from outside, Jaden is smooth and slithery and knows how to get to the rim and score. He knows how to use the glass, finishes with either hand, and is patient when getting inside the paint. On defense Hubbard does a great job of reading passes and uses his length to get a hand on the ball. He moves very well laterally and does a great job of challenging shots. Loved seeing him take multiple charges as that’s how leaders lead their team by example.
