Battle For Georgia: Stock Rising Forwards

2025 6-8 F [player_tooltip player_id="1383018" first="Bryson" last="Tiller"] – Atlanta Xpress – Pace Academy
Rising sophomores don’t often look like [player_tooltip player_id="1383018" first="Bryson" last="Tiller"]. His wide shoulders, lean muscle and size are impressive. Tiller moves like a pro. With that size, he has complete body control, agile as a guard as he makes his moves. He creates off the dribble downhill and likes to pull-up for mid-range jumpers. He bangs inside, finishing with either hand. He uses a hook shot to score over defenders. Tiller can play off the dribble handoff and immediately turn the corner. On the block, he uses a calm release dribble to backout of double teams and swing the ball to the open man. He’s got major velocity on his crosscourt passes and can pick apart defenses with his vision. Tiller has all the tools to become a dominant player long-term.

2024 6-6 PF [player_tooltip player_id="1501775" first="Dwight" last="Brown"] – Atlanta Xpress – Newton
Moving from Salem to Newton, [player_tooltip player_id="1501775" first="Dwight" last="Brown"] is a glue guy that has length and athleticism to make an impact around the rim. He rebounds the ball well and converts effectively. Brown has a wiry frame that should gain even more muscle over the course of his career. Dwight has a soft touch from 10-feet. He will be an important interior defender.

2023 6-6 C [player_tooltip player_id="1227086" first="Jelani" last="Thurman"] – Game Elite – Langston Hughes
The four-star tight end is a body mover in the paint. Thurman can bull people out of his way when fighting for position on the glass. He earns prime real estate and uses his burly frame to score inside and fend off any shot blockers. Jelani runs the floor hard for his size.

2023 6-5 F [player_tooltip player_id="820295" first="Jalen" last="Hilliard"] – Team Forrest – McEachern
Energy is what Jalen brings. His calling card is to play hard and rebound. He did just that on Sunday with 8 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals. He plays bigger than his size and is an important defender that can help guard 3-5. Jalen has a nice touch on his floater and can knockdown outside jumpers.

2025 6-6 F Kennedy Okpara – AOT – Silverdale Academy, TN
Kennedy showed flashes of his bright future in a loss to Game Elite. He’s long, wiry and active. He will need to get stronger to be able to bang inside, but Okpara has a quick leap that allows him to earn multiple opportunities on the back board.
