At the TABC Showcase, Prince appeared to be at his best when spotting up and letting it fly from the left side of the floor whether it was the wing or corner. A true and pure corner specialist, the senior guard was automatic just about every time he received the ball no matter which corner he set up in. I couldn’t help but admire how effectively Jackson utilized the baseline and off-ball screens to free himself up for shots from deep. This top-100 recruit was such a remarkable jumpshooter that he was able to come into the game off of the bench and put up over 8 points per game on 50% shooting from long distance. After standing out in such a spectacular way Prince received athletic scholarships from Southern Assemblies of God University and Texas-Wesleyan University.

[player_tooltip player_id="1332638" first="Ashton" last="Hardaway"] | 6’8 | SF/PF | Duncanville High School

Nationally ranked forward, [player_tooltip player_id="1332638" first="Ashton" last="Hardaway"], showed everyone in attendance why he’s known as the best floor spreader in the state. It’s his huge impact playing and scoring within the flow of the offense due to his elite ability to quickly spot an opening on the perimeter and also make a play from inside of the arc that really makes him a special player with a set of skills that each translate to the college level. Starting with his excellent use of his massive size, utilizing his stocky 6-foot-8 frame as an advantage to get a clean shot off from all three levels of the court. 90% of Hardaway’s offense consisted of jumpshots from either mid or three-point range, displaying a very consistent and well-perfected outside shooting stroke alongside his lethal spot-up prowess, his deadly pull-up off the dribble, and his phenomenal catch-and-shoot techniques. The confidence and aggressive score-first mentality Hardaway showcased on the offensive end will become a sight to behold in his final season. The highly touted forward proved to be fearless with the distance and volume of three-point bombs he let fly on his way to averaging 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists per game throughout the weekend. Not too long after torching teams from long-range, colleges such as Oklahoma State University, Boston College, USC, and SMU sent out offers and began their recruitment of [player_tooltip player_id="1332638" first="Ashton" last="Hardaway"].

[player_tooltip player_id="787367" first="Wesley" last="Yates"] | 6’4 | SG | Beaumont United High School

[player_tooltip player_id="787367" first="Wesley" last="Yates"] was the definition of sharpshooter, whether he was leaning, falling, jumping with his off foot, contested, spotting up, shooting on the move, or floating the shot Yates kept the same motion, the same high release, the same follow-through, and received the same results while proving to be the most efficient, consistent, and complete sharpshooter in Texas, if not the entire country. Hamilton was instant offense, In a match-up against the Beaumont United Timberwolves, Warren came into the game off the bench and immediately drilled two corner three-pointers from the exact same spot in the left corner, the first coming from popping out after receiving an elevator screen and quickly setting his feet, his next make came in transition as Hamilton raced down the floor and found his way to the corner yet again for another spot-up jumpshot, all coming within his first 25 seconds of play. This kid is a gifted player that’s going to be a major asset to the Lake Highlands’ success this upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id="957681" first="Riley" last="Shore"] | 6’8 | SF | Prosper Rock Hill High School

One of the top-ranking small forwards in Dallas/Fort Worth put his effortless shooting stroke from way outside on full display throughout the showcase. Shore knocked down multiple three-pointers game to game often hitting jumpers off the catch, showing a fast and high release that gives him the ability to fire overtop of contesting defense. [player_tooltip player_id="957681" first="Riley" last="Shore"] is sure to have a big-time senior season, he’s expected to be near the top of the leaderboard for three-pointers made as well as percentage.
