Marrs is one of the top shooting big men in the state and he continues to show why he’s such a rarity with his size and skill. The fact that he can shoot outside is great, that he can work off the dribble is even better, but to be able to defend with his strength in the post really completes his profile as a stretch four-man. He will be a player to watch when he suits back up with Ellensburg this June.

Marrs wasn’t making a ton of highlight plays on the defensive end, but he was one of the top defensive rebounders on the day, finishing defensive possessions and making sure the opposition didn’t get any additional second chances inside. He was also effective defending on the blocks and showed good mobility to step up and clog driving lanes.

Now standing 6-foot-8, Marrs has been taking advantage of the spring season to show a really complete game on both sides of the floor. He moves his feet well, has decent lateral quickness, and plays solid defensively. On the offensive end, he’s a threat inside and out, with strong moves in the paint and a jumper that looks good out to three. He’s got a lot of potential and should be a big riser over the next year.
