Upstate Emerging players

<p>Upstate New York doesn’t always get the credit for excellent talent, but if you do your homework you can finds gems in the rough. <br /> <br /> </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1195572" first="Andreo" last="Ash"].      6”5.         2024.       Liverpool</strong></p> <p>Read my opening paragraph and this player is the gem of gems. A world of talent. Possesses a tremendous mid range game. Plays above the rim on getting to the basket. Exceptional handle. Bryant and Stony Brook have offered he is a player more teams need to get on. Seventh team all state should rise to first team. Serious contender for player of the year in his next two season. Came in at #13 in our 2024 Prep Hoops rankings.</p> <p><strong>Christian Cain.       6”0.      2023.     West Genesee</strong></p> <p>The coaching staff knew about his talent now the rest of upstate does as well. Now is time for colleges to take notice. He was selected to the 14th team all state. Christian averaged 18 ppg.  He can flat out score the ball many different ways. Also an excellent on the ball defender. Should be a new entry on our Prep hoops class rankings.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1326934" first="Jackson" last="Casey"].        5”10.     2023.    Corning Painted Post</strong></p> <p>A true point guard. Tremendous facilitator. Exceptional ball handler. A team leader seems like he can play 3 games in one night. Always going hard. John Stockton type toughness. A great player to have with the ball in his hands at the end of games he shoots at 90% from the charity stripe. Fifth team all state. Was #111 in Prep Hoops 2023 class rankings.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1381499" first="Justin" last="Yearwood"].      6”1.    2023.     Ithaca<br /> </strong></p> <p>An elite athlete. At 6”1 he plays a lot bigger. Can flush it in traffic or in the open floor flying through the air. On the defensive end he can block the shot keep it in play and start the break. Solid mid range game. Justin was ranked #71 in our PH ranikings for the class of 23. A 10th team all state selection.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1360136" first="Isiah" last="Henderson"].        6”4.      2024.       Corning Painted Post</strong></p> <p>Displays unlimited range. Can really get up. An excellent defender. Outstanding rebounder. Every ball in the air he gets to. Deceptively quick. Not many flaws in his game. 9th team all state selection and # 16 in our rankings.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1381498" first="Jalen" last="Hardison"].     5”10.     2023.     Newfield</strong></p> <p>A do it all point guard. Always in attack mode. Really good three point shooter. Attacks the rim with a strong handle. Finishes strong around the rim. Uses his size and athleticism. Capable defender at the rim of on the perimeter. Can knock down the mid range jumper. Was #60 in our Prep hoops state rankings.
