Silas Makes Pick
<p>One of Prep Hoops NJ’s top available seniors from the Class of 2022 has made his college decision.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1013044" first="Adam" last="Silas"]</strong> of Saint Thomas Aquinas has committed to D-1 Wofford. Silas was the general consensus among media for GMC Player Of The Year this past winter as he led the Trojans to the county title and a 27-2 record. He’s a playmaker who’s capable of scoring at multiple levels and has good hands on defense. Silas averaged 19PPG and had 33 vs Gill St Bernard and 37 vs Colonia in the GMC Finals. He also hit Colonia for 28 in the regular season.</p>
<p>Silas had several other D-1 offers, including Manhattan and Rider prior to his commitment to Wofford.</p>
<p>Wofford, a small Methodist college in Spartanburg, South Carolina with an enrollment of 1,800 undergrads, is a member of the Southern Conference and has won the conference title 5 times since 2010.</p>
