Below is a review of the southeastern Pennsylvania prospects selected to the 2021-22 non-PIAA all-state teams by basketball writes from across the state.

1st Team non-PIAA

[player_tooltip player_id="991185" first="Dereck" last="Lively II"] – 7'1” / Senior / Westtown School / [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'] EYBL / Center: This extremely athletic big with 3-point range on his jumper was named the 2021-22 Non-PIAA Player of the Year. He averaged 14 points, 14 rebounds and 4.5 blocks per game and led Westtown to the state title (again). During the July 2021 grassroots circuit Lively pushed [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'] to the highly coveted Peach Jam tournament title. He is a program defining level of player who is committed to Duke.

[player_tooltip player_id="991188" first="Jameel" last="Brown"] – 6'3” / Junior / Academy of New Church / [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'] EYBL / Point Guard: This Penn State commit has now been a 1st Team selection for two consecutive years. Brown (15 ppg.; 7 rpg.; 3 apg.) is a complete floor general who can score at all three levels and distribute. He is a 1,000-point scorer and two-time state champion.

[player_tooltip player_id="1119147" first="Elmarko" last="Jackson"] – 6'3” / Junior / Academy of New Church / We R1 / Point Guard: We believe the best description for Jackson's skill set is Russell Westbrook is his prime, but with an automatic jump shot. Jackson's attacking, high energy style of play produced 17.9 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game. Jackson holds offers from ten DI programs.

[player_tooltip player_id="1176360" first="Muhsin" last="Muhammad"] – 6'3” / Junior / Germantown Friends / East Coast Power / Wing: Muhammad averaged 21.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per night. Back in December of 2021 he hung a 45-spot on Cathedral Prep (NY). The scary part is this natural born perimeter scoring threat is just scratching the surface of his potential. Muhammad is generating interest from a slew of DI schools.

[player_tooltip player_id="1119114" first="Onyekachi" last="Nzeh"] – 6'9” / Junior / George School / [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'] EYBL / Power Forward: “Kachi” displayed an expanded all around offensive skill set this winter, including a much-improved jump shot. The result was a stat line of 20 points and 12 rebounds per night. The highlight of his season was a 35-point (2 threes) performance vs. Abington Friends. His 7'3” wingspan and superb athleticism make Nzeh an extremely intriguing prospect. He now holds over twenty DI college offers.
