Prep Hoops Live: Saturday Standouts

<p> Saturday marked the second day of the Prep Hoops Live in the Kansas City area. We spent much of the day in Lawrence, KS watching 17U action. He scored 20 points and played fearless inside as he took the ball right at the Demons’ athletic shot blockers. He made good use of the pump fake and finished well in traffic.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/05/Jack-Fessenden.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1196855" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/05/Jack-Fessenden-300x200.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" /></a></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1161294" first="Jack" last="Fessenden"] (Mo Thunder): The 6’2 2023 shooting guard from Troy was a strong bucket getter in the game I watched during the morning. His 3-point shooting range is deep and he can also attack off the bounce. He was also very impressive on defense as he moved his feet and provided consistent ball pressure.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/04/39A1388F-78B6-456A-A7E2-761266895432.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1438087" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2022/04/39A1388F-78B6-456A-A7E2-761266895432-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1161298" first="Kyle" last="Eckhoff"] (Mid Mo Elite): A 6’3 wing from Lincoln who is just an excellent all purpose player. He has good size and he can play the playmaker role and get buckets. He was knocking down 3-pointers while also dropping dimes and making good decisions on the court. He could score on acrobatic drives to the basket and hit the pull up 3-pointer. He scored 13 points in the second half to rally his team. His drive game was on point as he finished on a number of slashing moves in the lane.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
