The returnees listed below, combined with Simeon Wilcher Simeon Wilcher 6'4" | PG Roselle Catholic | 2023 State #17 Nation NJ , Christian Pierre-Louis Christian Pierre-Louis 6'2" | SG Roselle Catholic | 2023 State NJ , Akil Watson Akil Watson 6'7" | SF Roselle Catholic | 2023 State #105 Nation NJ and others make RC a strong contender to start and finish the season as the top team in the Garden State.
Rich Brisco | 6’8” | F | Roselle Catholic 2024
It’s easy to forget that Brisco was only a sophomore this year for the State Champions. He has an intimidating 6’8”-220lb frame that has matured early and turned him into an explosive, rugged and battling player in the paint. He’s capable of putting the ball on the floor, is a tenacious rebounder and has the spring of a high flying guard. With two more years to go, he will be one of the most heavily recruited players in the state. He’s part of a frontcourt rotation packed with elite D1 recruits, so his stat line may not always jump off the charts…but if you’re in the know of Jersey Hoops, if you drop a double-double vs Patrick School, 8&8 against Camden in the TOC final and other games as a sophomore—You’ve got big potential. Catch him with the NY Rens.
Tarik Watson Tarik Watson 6'7" | PF Hillcrest Prep | 2024 State AZ | 6’8” | F | Roselle Catholic 2024
Another part of the Lions “Big Man Rotation.” He transferred in to RC with his older brother Akil prior to his sophomore year. He’s another imposing figure in the paint at 6’8” 210 who will only continue to grow and team with his brother and Brisco to give RC a trio of Power Conference recruits in the frontcourt. His output doubled from his freshman season at Bosco, which is impressive considering the depth RC has. Powerful in the post and also capable of putting the ball on the floor. Had a huge 25pt outing in a win over Brooklyn South Shore(NY) and a double-double vs Bergen Catholic in the TOC semifinals. He plays AAU with New Heights Lightning.
Jaiden Glover Jaiden Glover 6'6" | SG Patrick School | 2024 State #57 Nation NJ | 6’5” | G | Roselle Catholic 2024
Glover is athletically gifted. He gets out in transition and runs the floor, can get up on defense to block shots and has range well beyond the arc. He’s crafty when driving to the rim and can also pull up. Can create his own shot or be a catch and shoot player. Already holds a host of major D1 interest. Plays for NY Rens.
Danny Murray Danny Murray 6'4" | SG La Lumiere | 2025 IN | 6’5” | G | Roselle Catholic 2025
Offered by U-Mass before he ever played a game in HS, Murray will be an elite guard when all is said and done. He’s a lefty who can score in a variety of ways and loves life beyond the arc. He didn’t see a ton of action or production as a freshman but this RC team was deep and loaded. His job was to learn from the upperclassmen and adjust to playing HS ball against top tier competition. He’ll see more of a role as a sophomore.
