Recapping the Champions. Pt2

<p>Here are some more teams that won a championship this past season.</p> <p><strong>Holy Trinity         Nschsaa </strong></p> <p>The Titans won the Nschsaa title by defeating the #1 seed Chaminade, then lost a heartbreaker to the eventual “A” champ Canisius in the semi finals. Holy Trinity is a team anyone of three guys can lead to a win. Each player has an unique skill set which puts the team in its best case to win a game.<strong> [player_tooltip player_id="1125587" first="Manu" last="Alford"] </strong>is leaned on to be the guy to go too, A player who gets to the rim and can finish in transition or a half court set. <span style="font-size: 1rem; -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;">A very athletic player with a long strong body. Manu and </span><strong style="font-size: 1rem; -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;">RJ  Neysmith </strong><span style="font-size: 1rem; -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;">make up a tremendous defensive duo. R J is an excellent defender. He gets his hands in passing lanes. He can turn defense into offense quickly.  Really good on the ball defender. He is strong handling the ball and guards it just as tough. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1046837" first="Isaiah" last="Shaw-Glen"] </strong>the big man in the middle gives them added protection on the back line. A tough rebounder and lane protector. Can score around the rim on his own or cleaning up misses. </span></p> <p><strong>Portledge        Long Island    NYSAIA</strong></p> <p>With the all time points scoring leader <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1045928" first="Zaire" last="Baines"] </strong>finishing up his career they went out in style. The low to the ground strong guard gets into the paint and scores. He has unlimited range from beyond the arc. Zaire does not rest on defense he guards the ball hard gets involved in rebounding and is super quick in transition, either starting or finishing the break. Fellow senior <strong>Aazayah</strong><strong> Ross </strong>has been the perfect teammate throughout his career. He is the consummate stat stuffer, a playey who most nights stat line looks like 10 pts, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals. He makes all the right plays. The consummate teammate. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1045710" first="Anthony" last="Follett"] </strong>was added to the rotation and his shooting prowess gave them another weapon. An excellent shooter off the catch or stand still he can drain threes. Anthony is also capable of getting his own shot off. Next season we should see Anthony rise in our rankings as he will be called on to be a major scoring option. The coaching staff is high on <strong>Brandan Torres </strong> a young player who gained experience this season showing flashes of what he can be. A strong player around the rim who can step out and shoot it.
