The event is being held at the Tarkanian Basketball Academy located at 2730 S Rancho Dr. This is an exposure event and will feature media, scouts, and college coaches. All games from the camp will be live-streamed on the 7outz Network. This platform provides an opportunity for unknown players to get discovered, however, several players arrive with buzz, offers, and interest. In this article, we take a look at our Players to Watch. (Register For The Las Vegas Unsigned Senior Camp)
Kasen Boggs Kasen Boggs 6'3" | CG Douglass | 2022 State NV 6’3 CG Douglas (#27) – The 5A Nothern player of the year is in the building and prepared to serve up buckets. Boggs is coming off a season where he averaged 20ppg and led the Tigers to the 5A Final Four. The scoring guard should be one of the craftier bucket getters at the camp. Boggs currently holds offers from Central Wyoming, Southwest Oregon, and Pacific College.
Frank Evans Frank Evans 6'1" | SG Eldorado | 2022 State NV 6’1 SG Eldorado (#28) – Should be fun to watch Evans in this platform. He’s a natural scorer with good 1 v 1 ability. Evans is one of those guys that is more shot-maker than shooter. He’s also explosive in transition which is always a good trait in a camp setting.
Amaris Quenum-Stewart Amaris Quenum-Stewart 6'5" | PF Mojave | 2022 NV 6’5 PF Mojave (#29) – AQS is fresh off a 4A title. The forward showed a good post game during the playoffs, finishing well with his back to the basket. He’s a decent athlete as well, with the ability to rebound and finish in traffic. Stewart is a sleeper prospect that should receive a long look from the Juco’s in attendance.
Desean Moreno Desean Moreno 6'4" | PF Spring Valley | 2022 State NV 6’4 SF Spring Valley (#30) (featured image) – Moreno will be bringing some bounce and athleticism to the event. Expect him to spend some time on the rim this week, as Moreno is one of the more explosive R&J guys in the state. He has the ability to finish in transition, and I’m intrigued to see how he’s developed his 1 v 1 game. With his above-the-rim finishing ability, Moreno, is a player to watch.
Jaelin McDougall Jaelin McDougall 6'2" | SG Spanish Springs | 2022 State NV 6’2 SG Spanish Springs (#40) – Mcdougal is a smooth scorer coming off a year in which he helped the Cougars to an undefeated regular season division crown. He’s a scorer that can knock down shots in catch and shoot action, or slash to the cup and finish. He averaged almost 12 per game, but his rebounding is also a strength of his, evident by his 5 boards per game average this season.
Gavin Douglas Gavin Douglas 6'7" | SF Boulder City | 2022 State NV 6’7 SF Boulder City (#37) – Douglas is coming off a year where he helped BC to the 3A title game. He’s a high flyer and one of the more versatile players at the camp. The 6’7 wing is good off dribble drives and is known to catch a body or two when given a step. His size and skill should intrigue more than a few coaches at the camp.
Jalen Foy Jalen Foy 6'5" | SF Canyon Springs | 2022 State NV 6’6 SF Canyon Springs (#15) – Foy checks a lot of boxes. The highly skilled forward is a shooter with playmaking ability. Foy is one of the rare players effective both setting the pick as well as using it. He has good size and the ability to shoot the ball. Foy has received offers from Phoenix College and the College of Southern Nevada.
