5 Players from the KingCo 3A Conference to Know

<p>The KingCo 3A conference has some fantastic talent, especially hidden talent. The conference does produce players who play beyond the high school level, including some in this article who will play at the collegiate level next year. Here is 5 players from the conference you should know.</p> <p><em>[player_tooltip player_id="930411" first="Ben" last="Nyquist"]</em>- Lake Washington HS</p> <p>The senior had a very solid and dependable this season for Lake Washington. Ben has a knock down shot, from anywhere on the court. I really mean everywhere, his range is unlimited as he constantly hits 3’s from well behind the 3 point line. His 44% shooting percentage from long range explains why defenders have to work so hard when playing against him. One thing Peyton is extremely good at is making his own space for his shot, he doesn’t need much, but he always finds it. The guard has incredible explosiveness when attacking the bucket. Despite his 6’0" height, you can expect his teammates to throw him lobs for him to finish with a mid-air layup. </p> <p style="text-align: right;"> </p> <p><em>[player_tooltip player_id="1120391" first="Jaxon" last="Nap"]</em>- Hazen HS</p> <p>The University of Montana commit is one of the top players in the 2022 class for the state of WA. The KingCo 3A MVP has a complete game. He uses his 6’7" frame on offensive to easily get to the rim. His ability to finish at the rim just as well with his off hand, makes it very hard to stop him when he gets to the bucket. The seniors smooth lefty shot has always been consistent from everywhere on the court and that didn’t change this year as he averaged 22ppg/15rpg. Jaxon is going to excel at the next level and I look forward to seeing him in Montana.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>Dunkan Nguyen</em>- Interlake HS</p> <p>Dunkan’s quick hands and fantastic agility is very present when on defense. He anticipates passing lanes fantastically. The seniors transition stands out when watching film, his court vision gives him the ability to find his open teammates on the fast break. His steady deep lefty shot makes it so his defenders have to stay on their toes, if they don’t, he will zoom right past and finish at the rim. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>Nathan Visdal</em>-  Liberty HS (Renton)</p> <p>The other half of the Liberty HS backcourt is also a lethal shooter. Nathan has the ability to shoot from anywhere beyond the 3 point line. His defenders have to guard him tightly, to keep his long range shot in check. The senior is extremely efficient in the pick and roll game as well. His explosiveness towards the rim helps him fly right by his defenders when driving to the rim.
